24/11/2017 22:42 | Blimey I didn't realise you could only get a deal of 1000 at a time! When I bought in here in early August (a PAYS refugee) I could have as many as I wanted, no problem at all. Gives further confidence to my decision to invest and hold! | the juggler
24/11/2017 22:39 | Good start Critter, nothing like stirring up the pot eh? Anything constructive to say about XLM? | hootza616

24/11/2017 17:28 | For those who wish to discuss the digital currency Stellar Lumens (XLM) At time of starting this thread trading at $0.041023 and 0.00000501 BTC. Plenty of talk about this crypto becoming something useful and with Satoshipay recently selecting XLM as thier default ledger over IOTA this must be one of the most exiting cryptos available? Please offer your opinion, good or bad, but please, be nice! | hootza616
24/11/2017 16:31 | Must be a big buy order in? | busterdog2
24/11/2017 15:48 | Price down but can't buy a bean | panic investor
24/11/2017 15:10 | eagle eye, I am with you 99% of the way with The Market and XLM. The missing 1% for me is the spread of online gaming/betting across the USA State by State keeps me here because it leads me to believe this could turn out to be a super stock. I was trading when the Market stood at 150 points in the 70's. Black Friday it was Black everyday on the Market then. | acamas
24/11/2017 14:31 | Acamas, I see the market much the same way. Many stocks have really flown, but I can't bring myself to chase a rich ratings. I think momentum stocks are for trading, not just buy and hold. XLM is currently is in a strong technical uptrend, the prospective PER remains good value vs earnings growth rate, plus earnings continue to be upgraded. Add cash in the bank and recent director buying, this one ticks a lot of boxes. There are a few pockets of value: AMO, ODX and HAT for example, but they need buyers to get things moving. It's not until the current momentum stocks run their course will the hot money look for a new home. After nine years there will be many people who don't know what a decent sell off looks like. The screens will go red and many small caps will see panic sellers and no buyers. It hasn't happened for nearly a decade, but one day it will. One of my favourite saying is 'If you don't know who you are, the stock market is a very expensive place to find out'. Overall I'm an optimist, but find being patient very challenging at times :-)) | eagle eye
24/11/2017 14:19 | Cheapest i can get is 187 now through all three of my brokers. | bazzer1000
24/11/2017 14:15 | Yes that is right just topped up with 1000 x3 the only way I could buy maybe this time people want to hang on to their shares they would love to drop the price but I get the feeling there is people just waiting in the wings | bc4
24/11/2017 14:04 | There's no volume cos the most they'll let you buy is 1000 shares at the moment.b | bazzer1000
24/11/2017 13:59 | Acamas, you are in the same boat as me. I cannot find anything inspiring a the moment. I continue to top slice and then rebuy after a dip on all my shares! Let's hope the IC tip converts this into a 200p share next week. Little movement or volume here today. Maybe everyone is busy seeking and buying "black Friday" bargains in the shops and online. Mostly a con I think so not bothering myself. | the juggler
24/11/2017 13:40 | eagle eye, Funny you should say that about your database searches because I am more and more facing a similar problem of top slicing looking at the market then buying back into the same stocks because the market looks to me top heavy and I am trading those that are quality shares. On what appears to me to be a carousel | acamas
24/11/2017 12:02 | What the hells Super Boom ? | panic investor
24/11/2017 12:00 | So 'This time it's different' now where have I heard that before? | frreeves
24/11/2017 11:31 | We are entering the 'Super Boom' the likes of which the world has never seen. Hasn't even got going yet. | cg8riverside
24/11/2017 09:39 | Wise words Acamas, Nine years is a long time without a sell-off and with may companies on very high PER ratings, the downside could be sharp and painful. My database searches are throwing up far fewer opportunities than a couple of years ago, so words of warning are appropriate IMHO. | eagle eye
24/11/2017 08:14 | Villarich, There is nothing wrong with taking a profit. The only piece of advice I would offer you is keep on your toes because all markets crash from time to time and all investors know of the last nine years is a bull market. Somewhere ahead is a bear market. Do not be over confident because when the bear strikes it can be quite a shock and selling then becomes problematical. Try and stay ahead of the market not easy but very profitable if you can do it. Good luck | acamas
24/11/2017 07:52 | XLM a buy in today's IC with a glowing write up! | gconvery |
