24/6/2020 08:37 | We can all argue about what the right price is, but not even the thickest thicko should be arguing that it's below 3 quid on today's stellar numbers...IMVHO! | eezymunny
24/6/2020 08:36 | The rank lazy stupidity of instis selling at recent prices well and truly exposed today. I've hoovered up quite a few more at decent prices. Almost no debt, valued only around NCA and miles below tangible book, and a market and customer base that will be around despite anything that Corona virus brings. As for some of the bearish comments on here recently. How low can our educational system sink that they churn out these thickos?! | eezymunny
24/6/2020 08:26 | just a little surprised that they weren't marked up immediately on open. Asagi (long WYN) | asagi
24/6/2020 08:14 | I'm all for contrarian views. However, Buywell offers nothing Best filtered | freemo7
24/6/2020 08:08 | Very resilient performance and bears out the improvements in processes etc that they put in place. No mention of forward shop sales which are ahead if you believe the staff. Net assets also up not including the freehold properties of £10 million. PE of 7. Very happy. Managed to grab some more. | elsa7878
24/6/2020 07:43 | Excellent result in difficult times I would say. B3 - note 20 is standard in the vast majority of companies I look at, so I'm not sure what your point is - and to be frank here the adjustments are very small compared to elsewhere. | podgyted
24/6/2020 07:41 | buywell you are only confirming your ignorance / stupidity. | itsnotmeitsy0u
24/6/2020 07:41 | All reads well.. with divi.. what's not to like. | tole
24/6/2020 07:35 | buywell3 - do you ever buy any shares? A very quick scan through your recent posts identifies you as a perma-doomster, negative of everything. Remind me not to invite you to my next party. I would love to know what you do buy. :-)) | lord gnome
24/6/2020 07:33 | Profit see note 20 20. ALTERNATIVE PERFORMANCE MEASURES On the Board's preferred alternative performance measure referred to as Adjusted operating profit which is Group operating profit adding back amortisation of acquired intangible assets, share-based payment expense and non-recurring items | buywell3
24/6/2020 07:29 | The shares are far to cheap IMO. | spooky
24/6/2020 07:28 | That'll do, a lot better than expected | freemo7
24/6/2020 07:06 | not bad at all! | itsnotmeitsy0u
23/6/2020 22:53 | The agricultural supply business in the sub accounts has a turnover well in excess of the figure for the Specialist Merchanting Division so they are not one and the same. Best to revert back to my post number 455. | elsa7878
23/6/2020 22:31 | Elsa7878, Had a quick look and it appears that the subsidiary Wynnstay Agricultural Supply has revenue in both of the Wynnstay Group operating units (Agriculture & Spec Merchant) so muddies the water a little. Clear though that the depots have the higher margins. | cockerhoop
23/6/2020 21:14 | Thanks. But distinction is clear. Merchanting division = depots and Youngs animal feeds. Youngs made 18k last year so all profit is the depots....Full year report page 5. 2 separate businesses: Agriculture = Glasson, feed, Grainlink, Arable (fertilisers). OP 2.95 m Specialist Merchanting: shops /depots and Youngs. OP 5.24 m Unless you see it differently. | elsa7878
23/6/2020 20:52 | In the subsidiary accounts | studentinvestor13
23/6/2020 20:41 | Student - really??? Like to see those figures please... | elsa7878 |
