Global market sell off, ftse 100 dropped below 7000, 15 months low, it's panic to any stock that's what i am worrying, tomorrow morning wpp could drop even further

If it were that obvious we'd all be billionaires, wouldn't we?

You take a calculated risk, or you stay clear. I'm prepared to invest here because the company have committed to buying back up to 1300p (and at this price they can get considerably more for their money), the dividend is very healthy at this level, the share is well-oversold in the short term and, in my view, the current savaging is ridiculously overdone. If I'm wrong I'm happy to collect the divis while I wait for the market to take the same view as me.

I like this company which has a lot going for it. But aren't we advised to wait for a clear and decisive upturn before catching a falling knife? Anyway I'm glad to have been cautious.

i doubt it is anything more than a market flutter. there is also probably a big seller in the background.

I AM actually start getting worried now, it touched 1284 then dropped below 1200 two weeks back, yesterday it touched 1185 and now tending towards 1100, looks like it's downtrend, and the market doesn't think it's oversold

haha thanks have been adding for a while now - anything under even £13 is a steal imo, excellent option for mid to longer term hold in pf.
