22/9/2011 20:03 | Closed at 223.0p. Not too shabby considering the market... | purplebox
14/9/2011 19:51 | Hi Osi, WKP is suffering with the rest in this market - but it looks like things may start to stabilise soon, and I think it's beginning to dawn on some people that the UK is doing better than most other countries... huge amount of cash now sitting on the sidelines... Off to Poland tomorrow for a 50th birthday beer and walking break with some others who also ticked off the half century this year... Purple. | purplebox
13/9/2011 19:30 | Been out of WKP for a long time but if it goes below 220 any time during the rest of this week I'll be in again. Hi Purple | osirisra
08/9/2011 00:17 | Middle ground for me - still some exposure so I don't miss out on unexpected rises - who knows when the market will say there is light at the end of the tunnel. But money on sidelines to take advantage of value created by dips. | melody9999

06/9/2011 20:29 | Stockadoodle - 6 Sep'11 - 13:39 - 7564 of 7565 Purple Know what you mean. I have been selling over the last few months & am completely in cash now. Will sit things out for a while & see what happens on markets I'm sitting it out having bought over the last month or so - not trading much but then my day job is keeping me very busy at present. WKP will be OK, but I think that the general market will be quite tough thru the end of the year. The whole Euro thing needs to be resolved and it might take a change of government in Germany to do it... IMO the USA is a side show... Still - life goes on - just booked for two months in SA, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia in December/January - I don't do winters in the UK :-). Purple. | purplebox
06/9/2011 15:30 | Brave move stock, and hats off to you. I guess I've bought some of your stock then? I must admit I've given up trying to guess market trends and instead look to buy value where I see it. But good luck to you, I hope you manage to buy back in at the right time. :-) | hyden
06/9/2011 13:39 | Purple Know what you mean. I have been selling over the last few months & am completely in cash now. Will sit things out for a while & see what happens on markets | stockadoodle
05/9/2011 20:35 | I hear you Purple but I've taken advantage of the situation and topped up. Comfortably below NAVC now, I think so a reasonable risk / reward ratio. Only downside is that the yield is on the lower edge of my typical investment so I will be expecting capital appreciation over the medium term. | hyden
05/9/2011 19:17 | Closed at 236.5p - this market is doing my head in... | purplebox
22/8/2011 19:14 | Closed at 230.0p. Market volumes very low across the board... | purplebox
19/8/2011 20:39 | All very dull since the 10:1 consolidation. Much more fun as a penny share, though hopefully we're not heading back that way any time soon... | catcheemonkee
15/8/2011 20:31 | Salt. Quite agree, wkp is as good as any for a long term buy. I'm holding here from the 0.16 pence mark. | kiltrock
15/8/2011 19:00 | kiltrock, wkp is anything but on its backside. Loaded with cash and on the lookout for distressed sellers. I think wkp is beautifully positioned for those with a bit of patience. Could be a ten bagger!! Salty | saltaire111
15/8/2011 18:22 | Just picked up a rumour....note rumour...that a bid may be in the offing. Anyone know anything? certainly no share price movement today. Ssords | ssords
14/8/2011 21:56 | The RI was not the problem - the share price dropped back a bit but would have regained the fall if fear had not controlled the market. Now back above the RI price and the company is still strong. Given a positive market these will do well in the comming months. | purplebox
14/8/2011 14:40 | CM I've had another lesson on Northgate last year on a rights isuue, the share dropped back more than WKP Its a good lesson all told. Anyway, I am holding here very long term. The construction/propert | kiltrock
14/8/2011 13:43 | Lesson learnt. If shares that I hold are up for a rights issue or consolidation I'll flog them immediately. Then consider rebuying once the dust has settled. | catcheemonkee
13/8/2011 13:55 | Some boys on this boards was talking up this to approx .40 + and see now! still a good one for the long run. | kiltrock
09/8/2011 18:49 | Closed at 234.5p (23.45p in old money). | purplebox
08/8/2011 21:19 | Closed at 210.0p. I'm expecting more market turmoil tomorrow as the DOW is down more than 600 points... ...that said - this sell off is way overdone IMO. | purplebox
08/8/2011 16:46 | Wow... daylight robbery Friday close: 24.25 (i.e 242.5 in new money) Todays Close: 210 (that would be 21 in old money) (-32.5)!!!! Has everyone be stopped out? | stockadoodle
08/8/2011 12:44 | Yup Effectively now trading at below the rights price of 23p (in old value) | stockadoodle
08/8/2011 09:18 | effectively a massive fall today, maybe some people cant do very basic maths. Going to try and top up, bet they move it up quick when i try | james111
04/8/2011 18:32 | Was feeling pretty chuffed this morning when I was able to re-buy a bit cheaper some shares that I had needed to sell in my ISA to make room for the rights. Not feeling so clever now! | catcheemonkee |
