29/10/2001 19:07 | Am I missing something guys or are fins being nice to me on my first day? I've only opened three trades so far but the price I got to trade after pressing the 'trade' button was almost instantaneuous. Are you saying that it normally takes a lot longer than that?? | bensta

29/10/2001 18:36 | Ben - fins is real slow at quoting at present normally you get your price much quicker. Nasdaq is doing the business for me tonight , can't see log and arm being up in the morning.Dec nas short in profit , will probably close it now as it was painful on Friday. | taximania
29/10/2001 18:33 | Interesting week for data. I have listened to a few debates on the info coming out of the US this week and the full Oct. figs for unemployment, payrolls and the likes of NAPM are not going to be pretty. We could also see a negative GDP fig on Wednesday. The markets have ignored bad news for a while now but the reality of the monthly data could well kick in. Russell. | rufusredcut

29/10/2001 17:46 | Russell - it is the 6th...you misunderstood me, I'm joking (kind of) about market manipulation, of which this market turning around and closing +ve would be a good example | yoda999
29/10/2001 17:45 | FB - I've a whole bathroom to do ! As for the mixing - indeed, a coathanger and drill is exactly what I use... long, DOW, 9340. | riley9
29/10/2001 17:42 | riley9 - I was refering to your earlier post but never mind. PS - Try an old wire coat hanger in an electric drill - perfect for mixing plaster up in a bucket. | fat.bloke
29/10/2001 17:41 | Well today is the first day of comparing D4F with my new fins account and I've got to say that after only a couple of trades, compared to fins, D4F SUCKS!!! I really can't believe how fast the orders get filled with fins compared to D4F and no re-quotes! I'm only testing with pennies just now and haven't experienced any of the traditional fins problems yet so I may change my tune later but for now fins is looking good! Bb | bensta

29/10/2001 17:32 | Don't forget Ali G's ability to write cheques at crucial moments. I feel another example of Houdini escapology from the guvna... | yoda999

29/10/2001 17:31 | Sold @ 9351 for 5 points (better than -5 I guess). I'm off home - rather watch that paint & plaster drying from earlier. Good Luck - when I close due to time contraints it is usually a good sign for others so expect a 100 point climb in the next 10 mins. | fat.bloke
29/10/2001 17:30 | have you got bricklaying tonight FB? | cashflo
29/10/2001 17:28 | Futures way too pessimistic for a got sharp rally IMHO. Daily, DEC and MAR sell all below or at cash. | fat.bloke

29/10/2001 17:12 | CP - doubt it is the right thing as I did it but was getting bored as I've been waiting to go long since 2:30 - expected a 50ish point drop then steady rise, think 200+ point drop is a little overdone. | fat.bloke |
