01/10/2009 11:16 | I'm still holding. I still have faith in them. Massive gamble but we shall see. As long as the company stays afloat, they can continue operating and as long as they are making a profit (we can only know when they announce their results, but I am quietly optimistic), they will only go up. | galles
01/10/2009 10:25 | When I first read that they would be taking WHY off the main market, I thought they might be going to AIM. I had this in my ISA, so I sold. But now I'm wondering if this is actually going to be taken private. If that happened then small holders would end up with shares they can't sell. Interesting times... | karldinnel
01/10/2009 10:12 | the FD is useless | gatdecor
01/10/2009 09:17 | Sell out. I remain close to the company. WHY find it increasingly difficult to buy in work at the moment even at a loss to keep existing employees busy. Clients are concerned about the firms financial position. Turnover might be high, but profit is sanity, turnover vanity! I would expect T/O & profits to be weaker moving fwd. The writing is on the wall for investors. Material Dilution to existing shareholders. Dont be sucked in. As noted above, these will be 1p. | d23m
01/10/2009 08:28 | As previously announced, a restructuring on the basis of the heads of terms will result in a material dilution for existing holders of equity and the Group may not, in such circumstances, continue to satisfy the conditions for listing on the main market. | gdasinv2
01/10/2009 08:26 | It is absolutely irrelevant whether WHY has £m clients or is 'undervalued'. THe Board cannot tell you any more clearly than they have that your investment is soon to be worth pennies or less. THose swapping their debt for shares can reasonably insist that the company remove itself from public listing to enable them to manage their risk, and to hell with yours. | silverfern
01/10/2009 08:18 | just like jsp destructing this will be 1p | gdasinv2
23/9/2009 18:42 | see publis comment re dilution...therefore most likely a debt for equity swap, and question is just how bad it will be... | waggle
23/9/2009 15:13 | I'm not a holder but I have posted here before (411 and a few more subsequently). My question this time is if the banks and backers have now decided that enough is enough and they want out now, could long time followers of this company suggest if this can be done at a premium to the current sp, or would it be more of a fire sale? I definitely do NOT have insider knowledge, but I do keep my ear to the ground. | eipgam
21/9/2009 08:43 | Sudden Buy Volume today - Does any 1 have any comment? | gdasinv2
17/9/2009 08:15 | I strongly believe WHY is very undervalued comparing descent increase in similar field like MCHL, SWG. Loaded few. | gdasinv2
15/9/2009 18:29 | MCHL recovering nicely...less risk than WHY IMHO | sleveen
15/9/2009 16:24 | sensible post chris | bluenose851
15/9/2009 16:22 | I have a very high regard for this company and on my other thread this and WSH were my picks. However - unless you want a gamble and can afford to lose your stake I would steer clear until the dust settles and there is clear direction. I have realised my losses and will watch from the sidelines - no time for emotions. There are safer bets like WSH, SWG and HYC out there. all the best to all what ever you decide chrisjg | chrisjg
15/9/2009 11:03 | totally correct steve. | bluenose851
15/9/2009 10:54 | squire007, further dilution certainly is possible, and indeed is likely. Only put what you can afford to lose in here, as you are running a high risk of doing just that. Personally, I wouldn't touch this - I'm invested in WSH and HYC and am very happy with both companies performance so far. Cheers, Steve. | stevemarkus
15/9/2009 10:53 | ok fair enough then....its a punt.....just didnt wanna see anyone betting the farm on it!! | bluenose851
15/9/2009 10:48 | bluenose, as I said, this is a speculative play. People are betting on it not dying and betting on it not having MASSIVE dilution which could result in a de-listing. Perhaps not likely, but they obviously reckon the money put on it happening is worth it. You mentioned you were a broker for 13 years, surely this is not the first (or second) and will surely not be the last company that is experiencing this......... | galles
14/9/2009 23:01 | we are not u :- PROMISE :- just watch what satan has lined up :) no its not coke... | wooosh2
14/9/2009 22:59 | they were diluted big time already, further dilution not possible ...... net value and future profits good ..... climb from here limited shares out there so beware of MM manipulation to fulfil orders .. top 10 shares holders have massivley diluted holding ...... we are going up up up | squire007
14/9/2009 21:35 | Bought in spread bet at 12.48 last week, which is now my stop. Nil risk/limitless reward on the table. I agree with Bluenose regarding what the Directors said, however you must agree this share price has just about every negative already priced in and therefore the risk/reward is northwards. If nothing else it will be entertaining along the way. Another 0.5 up today - thats my kinda share action give me another 2 months of the same. | kroberts
14/9/2009 16:52 | MASSIVLEY DILUTED THEN....AS YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE DIRECTORS | bluenose851
14/9/2009 16:50 | these wont die ......... Therefore !!! | squire007
14/9/2009 16:12 | obviously i understand how this works, i was a broker for 13 years!! However, it never ceases to amaze me that pi's get sucked in like this and trade the almost inevitable dead cat bounce. There is no escaping the words in the last RNS which say the shareholders will be diluted out of existence. I remember having similar conversations years ago with jarvis shareholders. Jarvis hadnt said they were to have a CVA but it looked likely. I was taunted for some time as my view was ante the rest, but I was proven right. If this is a punt for some of you fair enough but it doesnt look good from where im sitting | bluenose851
14/9/2009 16:05 | Simply put, this company will either 'die or fly'. People are putting money on this with the hope that this will 'fly' (that is if the upcoming announcement is good news). A big gamble, but not impossible. Bear in mind also the steep drop in price the day they provided the update. The massive drop must have been exaggerated by the shorters' involvement. The need to close out the short (with a massive profit) meant that now is the time for the execution. I am holding some myself as well, bought in the 30p region, 'hoping' for the fly scenario to happen. If the opposite happens, my loss is quite minimal. More upside than downside for me, but note, this is a speculative play, not an investment at all! | galles |
