jas0701 - used to be if you purchased the shares in a pep pre april 2001 they could be transferred to an isa on delisting from the main market. Not all brokers will let you do this unless you dig out the relevant details and preach text and verse. Good luck...

see no reason why not ... best kind of shares to hold in an ISA - large gains tax free

My shares are in an ISA, what effect will this have?
Can you still hold this in your ISA even if this gets relisted on AIM?

Any thoughts most wellcome.

Thanks in advance

Jas

The management sounds extremely arrogant and possibly stupid.
Shareholders cannot be turned into wild dogs with fleas for fear of death.
The light of hope is that all these debt conversion for the bank is being done at 23p per share. In that case, current price represent some value and banker, management & shareholders are in it together.

deanroberhunt, please take it easy with your deramping

don't think its cheap cos it keeps falling......its being diluted into oblivion and a lot of funds if not already will have to sell, as they can't hold them after it delists from the main market.....@2p its worth a widows and orphans recovery punt

debt for equity swap...roughly translated

Vote Yes, you're left with a miniscule amount in a company that may survive

Vote No, you get nowt........

tough decision eh?

You will probably get left with a small proportion of the company after refinancing. Of course, as the company say in their announcement, if you don't vote the resolutions through, then you'll probably be left with nothing. Not a good situation to be in, I'm afraid.

Cheers,
Steve.

If the banks are in at 23p, it is quite late for anyone to be selling at these prices. What upsets is the actions of management without due regard for shareholders.

I'm surprised none of you have commented that the employees trust will own 24% or so of the company after restructuring. About half as much again as existing shareholders. Why? To incentivise directors and other key employees!! What are they doing to justify this reward? Their pay is not enough? Many companies have share option schemes where directors get a percent or two of the company, but not a quarter of it!! Just ridiculous. I'm glad I sold long ago - I wouldn't have anything to do with this lot - how greedy can you get.
