21/4/2009 10:12 | ref post 95: if it was contrually fixed in Sept 2008, it's a minimum revenue isn't it? (regardless of a downturn in the ME since then) "The new Dubai deal announced today is worth £1.6 million a year to the group." | andrbea

21/4/2009 10:06 | Mister MD - if you really think my post sounds desperate - sorry but your wrong! I am confident this company is a little gem - for reasons I have stated in previous posts and if I keep repeating them i'm accused of 'ramping' look back in - in a years time and you'll see If you expect a share to continually go up, your naive - there has to be pull backs - most people understand this! | joe_public

21/4/2009 08:56 | Ancient history. Dubai, indeed, the whole ME is VERY quiet. Some serious ramping going on here. DYOR & if you are prepared to basically gamble that WHY will survive (let alone prosper) then go in. | neilrr
21/4/2009 08:52 | Lost momentum but director deals may support it. | aspex
21/4/2009 08:48 | This is an old article (Sept 2008), but shows the order book (and work till 2012) Looking ahead the order book now stands at a record £400m, more than with 51 per cent made up of long term framework agreements extending beyond 2012. Chief executive Lawrie Haynes told Construction News: "Our numbers are so good because we are a multi-disciplinary organisation. Where one part of the economy might be slowing down, another is heating up. "It is one of the beauties of our business model. It is effective when we need to be aggressive, or equally so in times to be defensive." The new Dubai deal announced today is worth £1.6 million a year to the group. It will see WYG provide development control services for a massive Dubai waterfront project to turn 1.4 billion sq ft of empty desert and sea into a city for 1.5 million people. Mr Haynes said: "We are spending a lot of time developing our Middle East approach and this is a great win for us. We are already hearing the client wants to expand the commission further. We see a significant opportunity to extend our international footprint in the Gulf." | andrbea

21/4/2009 08:03 | adding 1m shares for staff incentives - shows positive confidence in company | joe_public
20/4/2009 16:21 | There you go, you traded out and now you're going to be chasing it as this one makes the real sort of gains these small bombed out penny shares make at the bottom of markets :-) CR | cockneyrebel

20/4/2009 12:41 | been into auction 10 times already today - is this some sort of record? | joe_public
20/4/2009 12:03 | JSG looks interesting, but check out SFR. Nice divi, big order book but share price knocked badly over past year. | nigelwestm
20/4/2009 11:25 | I think a better bet than JSG is possibly CCT - on the move again - was a strong performer last year and it tends to rise sharply if you look back at the chart - directors were buying heaps at the pound level and also bought back around four million shares. No debt. I suspect there will be a pleast trading statementin a few months - they have an amazing selection of toys on offer. Dr Who - new prog on telly next year, also hanna montanna and high school musical. Kids just lap these things up. Only 15k shares on the board at 42p and then this is 51p. | whiterussians |
