16/4/2009 12:49 | some extreme movements here today! | ceckyspunt
16/4/2009 12:44 | MWB - here's what you get for 24m pounds at 31p - hoping this does a WHY!! - control of Liberty store in Oxford Street. I really like Arts and Craft stuff and designer clothes - two dozen Mal Maison Hotels - control of MBE which is listed on AIM and owns a load of very profitable Regus type serviced offices and has #14m of cash in it Can imagine some rich middle eastern jonny wanting to cop a load of that. A breakup was mooted last year.US investment fund Oaktree Asset Management tried to buy Liberty for £80m two years ago. I think the Net assets are over 200p compared to a share price of 31p. Im researching that now. But looks remarkably cheap. As CR would say, its a maximus hornicus chart too!! | whiterussians

16/4/2009 12:00 | Suspect this down to someone getting wind of a solution to the funding issue. It's dirt cheap if so. One for the brave or those in the know IMHO | overeager
16/4/2009 11:57 | Presumably the worries about WHY needing to raise circa 30-40m have gone out of the window today? Well this is the busiest this thread has ever been over the years!! Not holding - I made my money from £1 to £5 a while back, but this really is bombed out now! | dixi
