08/6/2018 09:52 | Rns out. It seems someone has confidence in WEY, Baronsmead have taken a 20% stake. | bigboyblue
06/6/2018 08:29 | Sorry net - I see what you mean now. I completely agree, the market has completely discounted the China deal. Let's hope it's as big a success as the company thinks it could be. | mcfly79
05/6/2018 23:32 | net, I have to disagree about China. It's the main focus of David Massie and it's been two years in the making. The company are very excited about the prospect and we've got no reason to believe the JV won't be agreed soon. We should then see first revenue next year.I'm also very positive about the UK B2B business. | mcfly79
05/6/2018 23:27 | I believe that the market has completely discounted the Chinese and Nigerian initiatives. More than that, I suspect that the share price has actually fallen because of this news of overseas ventures. Because it is seen as additional cost, and as a diversion away from the core revenue generating business. The flip side to that is any positive news on either front will see the share price move north again. I was out in the low 20s and watch with interest. | melody9999
05/6/2018 22:43 | net, the Chinese deal is the one that is the "game changer" and I would be very disappointed if it was a red herring. The interims state "it is anticipated that a formal JV will be agreed in the next few months" If it was, as you say, then I feel the company is giving out misleading statements which became a big concern of mine back in Feb2018 when an expected update did not happen. Alarm bells start to ring in my head. | 666james
05/6/2018 22:17 | McFly79: I think the Chinese thing is a bit of a red herring (until or if it happens). The current price is all about the potential investors see in the cash, InterHigh, the language business and B2B education (the Greed) AGAINST the fear of a long term slowing in the growth rate of the business. Of course the price will EXPLODE if Chinese thing actually happens but I think we can discount it totally until we hear more. Its all about the UK now (at least for next few months - that is how I see it). I'm in because I think the UK B2B side is expanding massively and will continue to do so. Its the exciting prospect for 2019 and 2020. Cheers Net. | netcurtains
05/6/2018 09:22 | Yes - small sells continue daily.I think the next news could be confirmation of the Chinese JV. The interim results that came out a month ago stated that 'it is anticipated that a formal JV will be agreed in the next few months'.Hopefully they will also provide some details on the plan for the JV.I'm tempted to add more. | mcfly79
05/6/2018 09:13 | seanworld: You are right but market is probably not expecting any news until end August... If we had a spot of news in June or July then we should see some action. Perhaps InterHigh will have a big marketing push in June/July for September new year.... If so that would give us a bit of a higher profile. They do, theoretically, have millions to spend. | netcurtains
05/6/2018 09:05 | I was going to add last week but fortunately resisted. As the daily drip of sells continue I will monitor and try add lower. I do feel the drop is over done. | seanworld
04/6/2018 06:51 | Its worth noting that WEY explained in their last investor evening that they were experimenting with a marketing app linked to bus stops.... This got me thinking, basically WEY is an education TECH company and it could develop over the years in various directions..... There is, for example, a £90 billion tech education market out there... WEY perhaps should get a slice of this... | netcurtains
02/6/2018 10:34 | Thanks net. Good post | 666james
31/5/2018 09:51 | Yes Mcfly79 that is one of the saving graces for Wey. David Massie has such a large portion so he has a great interest in Wey's success. Hoping that Net is correct for the break above the 20p mark this week. | 666james
30/5/2018 21:07 | The warrants were due to expire tomorrow so were always going to be exercised before then.Great that David Massie has got so much skin in the game. | mcfly79
30/5/2018 15:25 | well does not look like we'll hit 20p today.... the bigger buyers seem to like the share but too many little sellers at present to see us over the line - UNLESS we get another bigger buyer by close of play (eg 60k plus) | netcurtains
30/5/2018 11:43 | Looks like Mr Massie has exercised warrants via his beneficial company, to just over 2.8 million shares - at 5p.... | microscope
30/5/2018 10:41 | Its interesting that from todays RNS Mr Massie now owns 18% of the company (up 2%). I guess that is something to do with share price rise? Any ideas? | netcurtains
30/5/2018 08:45 | InterHigh are having (I think) there FIRST Key Stage 2 open day next week - will be interesting to see how that goes... From their website: Our next Online Open Evening is on the 6th June 2018 @ 18.30 (UK time) and is focused on Key Stage 2 Places are limited so book early. BOOK NOW | netcurtains
29/5/2018 16:18 | Tuesday !! ;+)) | 666james
29/5/2018 10:41 | well 666james - someone has already bought some for +19p and its only monday. Can easily get into 20s from here. | netcurtains
29/5/2018 10:26 | Net, I really hope you are correct. | 666james
29/5/2018 09:20 | 666james: I think Mr Massive spent some time with big investors. I think the price rise up to 20s is OK for first stop (as big investors are happy)....Once figures are in I think we'll get into 30s (or 40s) not as a bubble but based on numbers. People are buying because they see the potential for good rise with little risk of a big fall - its the risk reward ratio. At this sub 25p price the potential is pretty huge. | netcurtains |
