thanks. I suspect next chance of any major news will be end of June (end of school year). Possibly as late as end of August. WEY will clearly want to get good news out as fast as possible (eg Mr Massie was paid in shares last year and I rather suspect he will want the price to be significantly higher than it is now by the time the next pay date comes in).

Cheers Net.

Good find net. I think these specialist shows (as opposed to general investor shows where loads of companies from across markets have stands) are much better for making contacts and attracting new investment.

Hope some new business heads Wey's way!

With InterHigh going forward perhaps the marketing needs to "drift" towards how exam results are significantly better than bricks and mortar schools (as well as the current main theme of how you have a much better life style if you dont have to be at school all day).
I guess Mr Massie will be on the blower making sure the new investors stay on board for the ride up to £1.00

rampmeister: I'm not an expert, I'm an enthusiast. Someone who writes here just the once is just as likely to be an expert.

InterHigh is going great guns but apparently will not be the main driver of growth - that will now be B2B.... At least that is how I read it.

I think Jackie had some great new marketing for InterHigh. Its worth remembering that phones are used by zillions more people then laptops. Its also worth remembering that school children often go to school by Bus. I think Jackie has come up with BUS STOP APP Ads ..... I suspect this could be a winner

Cheers NEt.

Morning net, as the board’s resident fountain of knowledge can I ask what was the problem with inter high and how has Mr. Massie fixed it? I can find no mention in the recent results statement.

Despite the hammering of the share price I am fairly confident Wey will produce the goods. They are casting a wide net and we only need one venture or joint venture to succeed.

Formal confirmation of the Chinese joint venture should reboot the share price The risk reward balance is heavily skewed to the up side and see no reason why current holders would want to crystallise their losses at this level.

seanworld: If you look at the revised figures in stockopedia its still stella growth by anyones standards.

This is the only uk quoted online education company we can invest in.

For this reason, it seems to me, the share price will recover and eventually break its recent highs (once we have proof with full set of results in late summer).

The bank problem is potentially a real problem in that if you get customers from Russia and the middle east . Perhaps certain areas need a special bank account - so if any of it is "wrong" it does not mean the entire company's main bank account gets closed. I mean is it possible to ring fence certain geographic locations in a seperate bank account?

With that one previso I think we are in for an interesting time again.

As Mr Massie pointed out at the meeting (and was NOT mentioned in the stockedia write up) Mr Massie HAS HAD 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE of SE ASIA and AFRICA and has made MANY PROFITABLE DEALS for his INVESTORS.

This Chinese thing could be big because Mr Massie says it could be big - if anyone can do it Mr Massie can (because he is an expert in chinese deals and an expert in education).

If you think Mr Massie can do it get in while its cheap and people are knocking the company

There is a good write up on stockopedia from someone who attended the Investor evening
for anybody interested. I do not want to copy over without their permission.

It is unlikely to instill any confidence in the short term prospects of the company
but it has highlighted a couple of issues for me for now.

Not saying it will be the case here, but sometimes the price action is telling you something. Don't want to fall in love with a stock and pay a heavy price, especially when the opportunity cost is high and the market is up.

Here is the website translated into English (take a note of the figures mentioned eg 140,000 students/pupils - currently InterHigh has about 1,000):

On a more general thing about B2B remember InterHigh is ONE school, the UK has 24,000 schools (number from Uk.GOV).

If you think about it, its a good strategy to get InterHigh to be the Rolls Royce of schools (a shop window for our B2b) - so its not so much about InterHigh numbers - its about the quality and RSULTS acheived by the school. They are 100% no 1000% (aka the Apprentice) to NOT concentrate on numbers here, but on QUALITY.

The numbers need to come via B2B amd the international market

Lets make InterHigh our Roller and the mass produced sales rep car - the Ford Focus - our B2B high sales mass produced, massive growth vehicle.

The ford focus of course can still be a great quality car but its main aim is mass market.

Our Chinese partners website:https://www.starscube.comThey are active across China and their products are used in over 1,000 schools. As set out in the announcement the JV will start to produce income next year. The potential is there for the JV income to dwarf the rest of the business over the next few years.I remain surprised at the share price fall. The company will meet the full year earnings forecast (lower revenue than forecast but at a higher margin). They are investing in marketing and the new opportunities overseas to drive higher profits in the medium term.

Gradual climb back to low 20s possibly. Placing price 22p will cap anything further. Tempted to sell just to clean up my spreadsheet but hold such a small amount it's not worth it.

666James: Mr Massie has no need to hide bad news at this point as he now has MILLIONS in the bank. He has got his money. Now its all about what he does with it.

He bought into B2B - We do like that but it led to some loss of "eye on ball" for InterHigh - he openly acknowledged that and this recruitment drive of new senior staff will give him and Jackie more time to keep an eye on the ball.

Basically its been B2B - GREAT NEWS (and will be the main focus of the company going forward - its where the HUGE growth is for obvious reasons).

InterHigh flag ship will have some new marketing (I suspect some child actors associated with West End musicals might be doing something soon - it was hinted at quite strongly during the meeting - this could lead to significant boost in in some numbers - people do follow people)

If you are interested in what child actors can do - just remember what actors/social media did for the likes of BooHoo - turned it into a billion pound company.

net ...its my faith in David Massie that has taken a big hit. He is in charge and that now is not so reassuring. I know he holds a big slice of Wey but he will have every reason to hide any bad news. Before, with all his plans, I believed what he was saying and now ....not really sure. Wey should have updated the share holders in Feb 2018 and did not and there was some poor figures. What else is he hiding from us ? As I said in a previous post I will give it a few days to see what happens. As you say there are big swings in this share but this feels not too good.

Sorry but this is a dawg and it’s going steadily lower. The results were dreadful...not for a small startup...the trouble is that wey was already rated at 30 million plus. Luckily it raised some handy new cash ...else it really would have crashed. The overseas stuff is just pie in the sky. Sorry...my holding is small so can accept a move down but it seems to me that plenty are now dumping this so we can expect this to go much lower in the short term. Maybe a buying opp but not yet

66james: Exciting in the sense with wild swings there is always the possibility of wild profits or loses.

I guess, if you have faith in the £4M in the bank and that the business makes money and is growing (current rate) at about 25%+ per annum with great B2B prospects both here and around asia and africa blah blah.

Remember its fallen 60% from its highs in the 40s

I'd say at this point, if you are still in, you have to take the rough with the smooth and potentially keep an eye out for quick bucks from either "dead cat bounce" or "recovery" - either could make you some money if you time it right.

I beleive in on-line education and this is the only quoted one in the UK - I dont care its fallen as I have no intention of selling - only buying from time to time
