Have we seen the low?

Hoping so. Looking forward to the next 6 months for Wey.
Potential update on either new venture in Nigeria / China.

Healthy cash balance.
Zero debt. Excellent growth.
WHI forecasting sales of £4.1m year ending Aug 18. (2015 - 1m)

I had a slight wobble earlier in the week but delighted with the
responses I received from D.Massie.

He is excited and the board are committed. How many small AIM companies
are majority owned by Institutions and the board?

New H.R guy to a huge pay cut (generous options) to join the company
which I personally prefer.

GLA.

so we have WEY to go yet!

InterHigh tweets:

InterHigh:: A BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH LEARNING

Next year they could actually pull off better margins and large growth - the philsophers stone of investment.
We need to ask: is Mr Massie Harry Potter and Ms Daniel Hermione Granger?

Indeed if a load of financial gurus and accountants bought in at 22p and the maths is still the same it should be trading at about 30p - BEFORE any results..

"IF" results any good should go significantly higher than that - if I know my accountants.

That's after a middling set of interims reduced the share price by 50% which itself made little sense. It just takes a little shove to correct the over-reaction!

Incredible that one post can add 20% to share price but that seems to be what has happened. Good post Sean world.

Thanks Seanworld.

Net, the placing was at 22p. I think those guys are long term holders mostly.

When I get a moment, I will scan the header to see what needs updating but if any of you learned people can make suggestions for updates that I can add, let me know.

Well done QS99 and bones. (excellent average) & barnetpeter. I do remember you calling
13p around the time of results.

Nice to see some positivity.

I will also add that David included the following yesterday
(lengthy exchange) with regards to 'the seller'

The decline we have seen in the Wey share price, which is hurtful to all the board of directors who are either shareholders or hold options, has not been one characterised by big moves. Instead, there has been consistent small selling of parcels of shares. None of these has been particularly large but as we all know, it only takes more sellers than buyers to drive a price down. I get the registrars reports regularly and the market makers are not sitting on large numbers of shares and so other shareholders are taking the opportunity to buy shares from those who lack patience at these attractive prices because the number of shares sold has to equal the number of shares bought

..."IF" (the big "if") the big investors who bought in at 20p are all happy then this should sail though the 20p barrier (when we reach it at some point).

I suspect we will however get one or two sellers, so will probably hover around 18p to 22p until all that is sorted out.

Once done, and results and forward statement all OK we should / could head back to 40s 50s or higher.

Blimey well done you bones. A true believer! Yes I agree, was on watching brief and had to nab a few over last few days to get a small position. Well timed (I hope), as it picks up steam again....let's see. GLA and DYOR

Another 80k today and that will do for me, 280k at an average 15.3p from the last two days.

Hopefully see the back of this trough now, backed up by David Massie's calming words. Sometimes, shares just puke for no reason!

if you want to you can view message source to see if messages come from China or Nigeria or from Moscow etc etc.

(I normally get geo location in Wales, if that helps - I suspect yours is too . (look up x-sender-ip and then put ip in geo locator - it normally tells you the nearest major city )

I still think there is a distressed seller around at these levels. Once that supply is gone, it will be up at a rate I feel. I may yet look to add.

Added a further 100k @ 15.6p average making 200k @ 14.7p average overall these last two days. Strapped in now!

Thanks Seanworld for the DM update. It's been a few months since I emailed him but he is always accommodating in his replies. Good shareholder relations go a long way.

Added this morning. (never catch the bottom)

Encouraged by David Massie reply. He told me nothing
that isn't in the public domain but feel reassured by his words

"The aim rules which govern companies like Wey include a provision that if anything changes materially, the company must make an announcement and so if anything had gone wrong, we would be under an obligation to make an announcement. As you note, we have made no announcement"

I sent am email today to Wey Education.
Impressed with the fact I received a reply.

The mail asked a couple of questions with regards to the previous results
and continued falling s.p.

D.Massie reply for which he stated I can share:

With the benefit of hindsight, the wording of the announcement could have been better phrased. No excuses, but sometimes too many cooks get involved and something is lost. The board meeting to approve the results thought that they and the announcements would be well received – how wrong we were. Incidentally all our institutional investors were chilled and could not see what the fuss was about.

The company did not “miss” a target. If the wording of the Interim Announcement is examined, what it actually said was that “we remain on track to meet our expectations for adjusted profitability for the year although this is likely to be achieved on lower than previously planned revenues”. What we were therefore saying was that we could make the same level of income but on reduced turnover, by concentrating on better margin business and cost control.

In a (small) growing company (this is my third over thirty years where I have been chairman), there are bound to be peaks and troughs because of the nature of the beast and that small events have a disproportionate effect on small companies. However, that is part of the excitement and what makes them so interesting. No one really seems to have noticed that so excited by Wey am I, that I have given up career where I ran my own successful corporate finance business to concentrate on Wey 100%. But I am loving it. Not only are we going to change the way in which education is delivered worldwide but we are going to make a difference to children’s lives around the world. But this is a multiyear operation.

you could look at it another way.

If the share doubles on good news you make a great deal more money if the price it doubles at is 15p rather than 10p.

So in a sense it pays to support your favourite shares because you make more money during the bull run if it starts from a slightly higher position.
