28/9/2017 11:05 | I quite like this "promotion" (if that is the right word) | netcurtains
28/9/2017 08:36 | Hi Lauders - yes that is how I came across the link. I was trying to see if there was any WEY Education Chinese link developing. I spoke for a long time to the Chairman's Chinese assistant (during the presentation) to see if I could gleam anything. It did appear that, in a general sense, AFRICA and MIDDLE EAST look like the next news items on the general flow of news and that CHINA might be later. If WEY could land a BIG African education contract that would be a game changer - no doubt. This company has so many strands that could potentially light a FIRE one feels its a good bet that a BULL RUN FIRE will ignite in the not too distant future | netcurtains
27/9/2017 23:24 | There is also this position on offer netcurtains: Interesting that the majority of job offers at the foot of the page on your link are for China and the majority on the page I link to are also in China (some USA). | lauders
27/9/2017 18:08 | WEY are recruiting quite senior teachers for this language school... | netcurtains
26/9/2017 09:00 | I'm thinking that WEY should (if they have not already) do some experiments into teaching MUSIC on-line... This is a subject that is often not taught at secondary school and apparently there are 100 million Chinese interested in classical music. Music is often "big" in private posh schools. You can definitely get someone to knock out a tune via the internet (just see youtube). The same is true for younger kids and pottery..... Both look good in brochures, both look good as background "noise" in online videos. To get "world class" etc you will need a personal tutor - but to get good enough to play "pop-goes-the-weasel Cheers Net | netcurtains
25/9/2017 09:58 | Post from the boss, Jonathan Satchell, over on LTG thread, thought I would add here as there seems to be a fair bit of chatter about both on here 'LTG is holding a Capital Markets Day for analysts and fund managers next Tuesday, 3/10 at 3.15pm, in the City. Our MD's will present their company's products and services giving real insight into what the group does. There are a few places available for private investors. If you'd like to attend please email me at jsatchell@ltgplc.com by 5.30pm Friday 29/9. Many thanks, Jonathan' | microscope

20/9/2017 20:12 | I think it's down to the market maker where they do the trade if the option is there. WINS (Winterfloods) uses NEX quite a lot but I am unsure of the reasons they do it. | bones
20/9/2017 19:27 | What is the advantage of using NEX? | netcurtains
20/9/2017 10:08 | Looking for another 12days constant gainer! Watch for the breakout once recent high goes, could propel us towards 40/50p area. | ny boy

20/9/2017 09:00 | Been building up my position here again. Next big leg up coming soon - surely. | someuwin
20/9/2017 08:54 | If you look at a selection of the language school followers on twitter. Assume about 5% of students "follow" in first month (just been going a month) - so quite possible they already have 50 odd pupils -perhaps a lot more (followers that could be students appear to come from right round the globe). Then there are the teachers - there appear to be about 5 teachers following that could be teachers who teach at the language school already (difficult to tell) so that could (18 * 5 = 90: potentially 90 students in first three weeks - these are all wild guesses more or less built on straw.....If more than 5 teachers then we're getting into the hundreds already. Very difficult to judge anything by looking at Twitter Followers of a company that has been going just three weeks. The grammar school version of also has followers but perhaps a tad less activity (as you would expect). To work out stat analysis I guess you could look at InterHigh followers and guage what percentage are students and mums and then multiply that number by the "known" number of students at interhigh, then you can overlay that figure on top of the other two twitter accounts and try and mutliply up. | netcurtains
20/9/2017 08:38 | The LSE board has some nice posts. From Beamer: ........but in summary the Company is planning for further significant growth in the coming financial year. | netcurtains
19/9/2017 23:00 | Thank you bones! Much appreciated. Looking forward to the future here. A little bit of strength each day will do me just fine. Steady as she goes over a long period with few major down sessions would be very welcome indeed :-) | lauders
19/9/2017 18:47 | Quite so.Perhaps time to add..... | nurdin
19/9/2017 17:37 | Lauders, re your post 15, I have now put a "Media" section in the header and made that video the first on it as a link. I am not a techie so don't ask me how to embed the video! Interesting snippet from that interview when Mr Massie mentions that, when VIPKID company of China ( recently completed a funding round, it valued the company at $1BN! This company teaches Chinese kids to speak English and reference was being made to Quoralexis' area of expertise and Wey ecademy's overseas ambitions. The value comparison is somewhat mind-boggling. | bones
19/9/2017 13:02 | Looks like we are on our WEY again | ny boy
19/9/2017 12:24 | LTG turnover around 21M. WEY's likely to be approaching 3M. WEY is just that much earlier in the growth cycle but assuming the path to profits benefiting from operational gearing becomes clear from the final results outlook next month, there could be the beginnings of a re-rate to 40p in the next few months perhaps? | bones
19/9/2017 11:42 | ..perhaps LTG is like a signpost, this should be the way WEY should grow. Currently LTG has a market Cap of about £300 Million (and its getting bigger by the day). WEY has a market cap of about £20 Million..... Come on WEY lets go ballistic OCT onwards!!!! | netcurtains
19/9/2017 10:32 | LTG going like a train this am...A bit like us a couple of months ago. | 666james |
