Most Countries didn't have a referendum to join the EU and were just rammed into it with promises of Wonga from Brussels.
Look at Ireland, most Irish I know are not happy being in the EU.

Apart from Eire I believe there are no ‘Spoons pubs in the EU so what is the point of going there.😀

I haven't noticed any difference. I stopped going to the EU for long holidays when they went the way of the Euro, generally too packed and too expensive everywhere.
Where I live it's like the United Nations anyway, more foreign than UK. Brazilian Delis, Chilean Takeaways, you name it! lol

Not sure of the benefits UK leaving EU?

Fishermen, in theory won, but farmers lost out.

Did anybody win?

Eire maybe as we have the Ferry to Roscoff, Irish cheeses now become a favourite?

I understand the lamb market, was once UK favoured, now Spanish, along with anything fearthered?

Have nothing against the change, Spain, good luck.

Olives brilliant, fearthed stuff, not sure of dating?

Can't see revolution happening here. The benefit payments are too high now, I know some that take Holidays to the Caribbean and Bali and say they're better off than working!

The biggest problem with our market is not Brexit but the Pension Funds pulling out. this has been happening since the 90's.

Remainers will blame anything and everything on Brexit such is their anger and stupidity.

The old arguments about Brexit never die.
I see today that the London financial markets have lost the battle for the listing of new companies.

We used to dominate before Brexit, the biggexstmarket I the World, a source of wealth.

Fear not, in a world where protectionism is rife and we are too small to have influence, after the election we shall crawl backing the EU.

Martin's and Johnson's 'sparking opportunities' are now seen to be a lie, aimed at persuading simple minded voters that we were strong enough to go it alone.

SDRY short just an added bonus!

The most disgusting aspect of the Brexit vote was Starmer calling for another referendum because the result didn’t suit him.

How big would the vote to leave have been if the Government had to sent letters to every household to do so like they did to remain?
People are only focusing on the free movement not the Politics of the EU which imo is rather autocratic.

I don't think alot of the Remainers would use Spoons anyway - too busy watering their Cauliflowers in their Pied-a-Terre in Tuscany.

There are a lot of comments under that video though ,saying they don't visit wetherspoons because of Martins opinions on brexit ?I'm not sure it was the wisest business decision,to declare your politics?
