How is it China .A mate of mine had a party last night with 13 people .They have never drank so much they said on furlough.Its one long holiday in each others houses regularly. They are not missing wetherspoons lol .

It did flatten the curve but the track and trace was pathetic and barbaques near me and bouncy castles didn't eradicate it completely. They then let in thousands of flights without tracing them, it just came back .Its not hard to understand you wouldn't be able to do it in China .I dont see how having this freedom is helping its making it worse

I have never said that .I wanted an extreme lockdown for 6 to 8 weeks to get on top of it .Then nobody allowed in or out of the country without strict quarantine .Track and trace people properly when they are infected ,and for a while all wear masks as it helps with transmission and protects the vulnerable .We would have been in a far better position. We keep letting people in the country and everyone is throwing house parties lol .How has that helped people are laughing at govt .Today is the first time in 10 months Boris has worn a mask in an interview .Hes a slow learner .

There is a virus called covid 19 that is statistically no more dangerous than the seasonal flu.

There is some of that correct .But if you cut the hospital bed numbers by a half over the last 30 years and the population has increased this is the result .We would certainly be in big trouble without the foreign health and care workers .We are where we are now, we have to get on with it .A mess .

Gozzie- Jeez, so much to go at here.

1) So now I've apparently agreed to somebody else on here? If it was with regards to there being no more lockdowns then that is yet another lie, I have explicitly repeated on these boards that lockdowns will continue regardless.
2) I have already answered this one but obviously you are a bit slow so will repeat it again. Anybody covering this scam up is scum, if this includes anybody working for the NHS then so be it. I make no apologies for saying this.
3) I am not against masks or vaccinations, if anybody wants to go along with all that then it should be up to them to make that decision in the same way that others should be allowed not to. Same regarding lockdowns, if people want to stay in their homes for the rest of their lives they should be allowed also.
4) It's not 'people like me' as you put it that are dragging these lockdowns out longer but bedwetters and people like you who go along with it all without even questioning it that are the problem. Have you not noticed the more that people comply then the tougher the measures get?
5) This vaccine is not my only hope at all and it's clearly ridiculous to say so. Have you not seen the survival rates? If you want to take an experimental vaccine then knock yourself out. I'll not bother thanks.
6) As for 'normality for 2021' then this again shows how little you've learnt.

We are never going back to normal, ever!

You dont realise many thousands cant go out without a vaccine, and so your wetherspoons will never get back to the same level of customers it had .Theres no way some people I know can go in busy pubs restaurants, so they have lost them for sure and they went at least 3 times a week .
