Essential, I guess it really depends on when people are able to go back to the pubs.

I am quietly confident that 'Spoons' will be the winners in the long run.

In the short run, once people are able to visit pubs, their profitability will be much lower than B.C. (before Covid) as social distancing will not go away anytime soon.

I have not had much of a look at the numbers lately which I should do, although this is not one of my core holdings.

Can the pubs be repurposed into say, self isolation units? So say you travel from the grim hell of Manchester to London, you check into a JD isolation cell for 14 nights, then go to your meeting, then travel back home and check into a local JD isolation cell for another 14 nights? Job done, meeting complete ? Another brilliant idea?

JVT, Vallance and Whitty have all 'sold their union cards'. I would not believe a word they say unfortunately.

Was in 'Spoons' in Brighton yesterday. All punters behaving themselves. They shut yesterday and will not reopen for the foreseeable - felt very, very sorry for the excellent and nice waitress.

What's the point of a vaccine then? And why the draconian lockdowns if those things work?
