The reason why this share is going up is because the company at placing time was fully funded for the year ahead and as of yesterdays AGM statement not only do most if not all of their troubles look to be behind them but on the reverse side of the coin there is so much now going for the company.

Happy to summarise

"In May 2016, the Division received a formal Letter of Intent relating to one of the signed MoU's for a long term (up to 25 years) airport security contract at a significant international airport in the Middle East. Under the draft terms of the contract, now under negotiation, the project would generate revenues in excess of £30m per annum based on the current PAX throughput and the currently anticipated fee per passenger. The Company is working closely in conjunction with the UK Government on this and other incremental opportunities identified in the country concerned and expects to make a further announcement regarding progress of this opportunity before the end of July 2016."

"Trading in the first six months of 2016 shows a continuing improvement in performance in both divisions. The Managed Services Division has also recorded a record financial performance in the first half of the year with further improvement expected in H2 as passenger numbers continue to recover to pre Ebola levels (currently c85%).

This improving performance in both divisions, combined with the lower cost base of the Group, has allowed the Group to reach close to EBITDA break even for the first half of 2016. This compares to a loss on a similar basis of approximately £0.9m for the first half of 2015, although this clearly reflected the worst effects of the Ebola crisis."

"Following prolonged delays, the Sierra Queen is now on the slip in the local shipyard and repairs are underway. The Company will update further once repairs are completed. We have continued to invest in set up of the appropriate infrastructure in the first six months of the year."

The 2nd vessel, the Sierra Princess, a 70 seater fast ferry, has now arrived in country and is going through formal registration and should be undergoing sea trials in July. Once sea trials are completed the Sierra Princess will be put into service alongside the Sierra Queen."

One such J/V arrangement is already at an advanced stage of discussion and further announcements in this respect will be made in due course."


If you seriously cannot read from that RNS and see that things have drastically improved then you need a trip to Specsavers and shouldn't be investing in any shares at all.

My two pennies worth has to be that given all of the above Westminster Group is heading for a significant and substantial rise.

Have you any idea how increasingly ridiculous both yours a gItys posts are beginning to look. Despite all your negativity towards the company the share price has DOUBLED. You made a sounding a few weeks back when the placing was secured that that was you done posting and I would urge you to consider it. Same goes for your sidekick.

If you were trying to day trade then fair enough. If instead this is just bitter resentment then get yourself some medical help as these things fester and more serious illnesses develop.

Misty, it is quite simple. Do you believe them or not. You and I do not.

Second question, coldly objectively have they delivered in the past. Clearly no.

Third question. Do you believe all that is written by posters ? Quite patently not. There are short term Rampers, long term patient holders ( someuwin, and others), then those in at much higher averages, desperate to ramp this back to their exit level.

Last question: will they pull something out of the bag ? Who knows. If they do, Misty and I will look foolish.

Clearly this 20 Year Middle East Border Security MoU is getting very close to sign off too...

The border crossing is a major and very busy transit point between two countries and due to the volumes of traffic passing through the crossing vehicles can be queued for several days waiting to cross. The purpose of the project is to provide advanced screening, monitoring and detection systems that will significantly speed up the crossing process whilst maintaining a high degree of security."


"The Company will generate its revenues from a security charge on vehicles and containers passing through the crossing with certain minimum revenue guarantees provided by the authorities."

Nothing new in the AGM statement at all except that the boat is on the slip. And that the the Princess has arrived. But nothing really exciting in that.

No substantive news on anything else. A slight reshuffle of the Board, so that one suit is replaced by another suit. No operational reason why RW kicked off the Board ? Presumably his pay will not drop ?
