14/2/2011 09:30 | Any sign of the circular to further inform us and give details of meeting .?? If not seems to be taking some time ? Are other things afoot ? Being a shareholder on aim is like following the soaps .Always waiting for the next episode. | h d shoring
11/2/2011 15:11 | more at 0.0075p. clicked em up ! guess we are gonna get a new website at some point also ?! andrew neil still showing as chairman etc and nowt on the recent rns's. | value viper
11/2/2011 12:15 | Yes I did wonder if there is something going on and when we look back in hindsight we probably should be buying the ar~~ out of it, but always difficult when you are in the trenches..!! | chrisdgb
11/2/2011 12:12 | I feel that, that is exactly the response someone is trying to invoke . If the mms are after shares and we hold on they will have to try the opposite tack and raise the price ? | h d shoring
11/2/2011 12:04 | all very depressing here, I would love to top up, but feel scared now.. | chrisdgb
10/2/2011 11:40 | Conversley the ask has gone up from .78p to .85p from yesterday . | h d shoring
10/2/2011 11:36 | There are some decent names who hold 50% of W&O and I doubt they'll allow OC to take over the whole business on the cheap. I accept that two opinions make a market, but it is quite galling that the stock is slipping on such TINY volumes - £202 worth of stock traded today - 0.001% of market cap, and yet suddenly bid price has slipped down to 0.7 or down 15%!!! I guess the opposite will work when the dust settles and anyone tries to buy more than about £5k's worth. (fingers crossed). I think you just need patience - don't forget the Events business turns a tidy profit. | mishmash81
10/2/2011 11:15 | I cant fathom what Raj Kumar is doing during this erosion of his capital in west. He has 28m shares which have halved in value since he agreed to purchase the travel unit ???? Sometimes we pi,s give directors credit for being far less devious than they really are [nudge nudge ] | h d shoring
10/2/2011 10:55 | the lower it goes, the more justified a lower potential take out price becomes. as u say HD, options cass would prob quite like to get their mits on the entire (residual) co for as least as poss. hhmm, pretty painful viewing this. | value viper
09/2/2011 14:44 | The fact that they specialise in Events not Travel should be a fantastic case for a takeover..???? This price continues to baffle, we need to get some serious buying.. | chrisdgb
09/2/2011 12:44 | O C are currently £750k down on their investment Surely it will prompt some action from them . But then we are mere pi,s and they will know much more than us what is planned | h d shoring
09/2/2011 12:26 | Added today at .78 got to be cheap. | ashtree2
08/2/2011 13:17 | So Options Cassoulides plc will own 27% of a company with a m/c of around £3m and it cost them £1.5m. Now as stated in the rns the major shareholders were consulted before the sale was agreed. So what is in it for O C to make them say yes .Merger with their other events division ??? Wait and see as usual is the answer on Aim . | h d shoring
08/2/2011 09:04 | We all agree there is value, disappointed not to see more brave souls buying..!! | chrisdgb
07/2/2011 14:21 | nice mish - fingers crossed. | value viper
07/2/2011 14:18 | I think that to get 1m for what was a perennially loss-making business is pretty acceptable. The fact is, the strategy of buying up lots of travel businesses and merging them did not work, while buying three Events businesses and putting them together has worked. The travel brand was ok, but is fairly new, so may or may not work, good luck to Mr Shant in turning that around.. So shareholders are left with a business that should make c2m in EBIT hopefully this year or next, with no debt (the latest business update was very bullish). Options Cassoulides have their own Events company in the Mediterreanean region, so activity between the two businesses given shareholder structure should not come as a surprise. A share price of 2p would put the business on a market cap of £7.18m, less that 4x EBIT. chrisdgb is right - uncertainty breeds opportunities. | mishmash81
07/2/2011 14:17 | good spot hd. i should have recalled it was in the RNS. OK, assume the disposal goes ahead - hoping "Events" can deliver... | value viper
07/2/2011 13:09 | Having reread the rns, they state that [after consulting with certain major shareholders ]. This seems to confirm that they have a majority in favour and the meeting to approve the action is a mere formality . We could always hope for a renewed approach from the second party ?? | h d shoring
07/2/2011 12:32 | uncertainty always breeds opportunities, I bought the 50 today and hoping to top up further in due course.. | chrisdgb
07/2/2011 10:35 | mish .. OK fair enough ... thanks for that | ihavenoclue
07/2/2011 09:48 | Maybe I am looking at a different company but as far as I can see they are selling a department that has lost money for 4 years at least . It had high turnover and needed offices and overheads to match. It is retaining the section which has made money for at least last 2 years . If that is a reason to downgrade the share price then so be it, time will tell . | h d shoring
07/2/2011 09:28 | Well I am a major buyer and I think the above post is trying to play on the newsflow vacuum, looking ahead, I think the breave will make major returns...each to their own.. | chrisdgb
07/2/2011 09:23 | and there u have it - thanks ! lol. | value viper
06/2/2011 19:41 | Just to try and help you work out a true value. Look at what is being sold and what is owed and what is left. This why the share price is going lower. Hopes this is of help shorters are the only ones to make money on this one. | qantas
05/2/2011 20:53 | The waters will have been tested and any necessary oil poured long before the shareholders are asked to vote . | h d shoring |
