IhavenoclueI expect a bidding war! No idea which way the vote goes on Thurs! As long as the share price goes up!

2baffled ... I think it is ... at the moment you either vote out the BoD as they have seen a 95% decrease in share price in 2 years OR vote for them betting they have an amazing hand.

I can see fireworks in the share price before Thursday with interest whipped up from weekend press and then details of the deal which the BoD HAVE to make it sound amazing to swing the vote in their favour.

h20water ... would it ? You can be the board will be making it sound amazing. The word Transformational has been used but then of course the threat that it won't happen if they get booted.

The game of poker is going to be played out this week and we will know by Wednesday just how amazing and "transformational" this deal is. Shame it took the threat of their jobs to suddenly pull a rabbit out of the hat.

A NO vote would get us the asset in the Far East and take the share price back up!

Bring it on!

Expecting a positive week from the start!

As it stands now, it very hard to believe that the resolutions will pass. Unless of course milroy has been shopping lately.

But we only know for sure that it's a strategy to keep Millroy out - full details of the AC deal has yet to come out. It may well involve many of the current board stepping down and AC moving a team in for this to become his new Salamader/Coastal??

Despite a search on Google, still no idea or clue as to what assets AC could bring to the table..... Got to tell us by the 15th though....

CHRISMEZ,

I share your sentiment totally. How they can actually try and use that for their own survival strategy is quite astonishing.

I agree with smalltime - from a legal perspective it looks like that RNS may in itself breach Aim Rules because the Directors would no longer appear to be acting in the best interests of the company but rather in their own best interests. To say that this deal will only go through if everyone votes for them is tantamount to putting a gun to shareholders' heads.

That's it for me - I'm def voting for the new guys - never comfortable with stupid illiterate executives running a company, still less will I be bribed or blackmailed into voting for them.

Like the way they herald the star performance. No mention when this and other AIM shares drip drip down each week/month while being run into the ground by the boys in suits who lick the gravy boat clean before moving on.
Current board needs to go as they have only stirred into action when under threat and only react with a threat of vote for us or you don't get to benefit from this wonderful deal that we can't/wont tell you about until our salaries are safe.

None of this lot ever work from a position of strength. None of them ever seem to raise cash when the share price is at or near it's highest. Why is that? Too busy spending their "hard earned" dosh until it looks like it might run out.

Hopefully next week will see me back in profit and then I'm out and will only re-invest if and when I see what's in it for me and not them whoever is at the helm.

BT, Oilbuy,
Whats your take on the action please. Like you both I have also held WSX for a long time. Didn't sell when 8 and 10p. So would be good to get some share price rise and happy to hold longer term if potential. Lots of new folks on BB who may or may not be genuine but would appreciate some balanced comment from you please.

I am gona put my neck on the block here. Gap up last thing to 1.1p and after all the week end press gap up Monday morning 1.2/25p.

================================

412069 ... first part as good as correct (going to high of the day) ... the way things are going I think even by my standards you are being a bit cautious as another 40 - 50% could happen first thing Monday ... after that ... who knows ?

All IMHO
