After Paddy Power confirmed it was in discussions with Fanduel and a bid probably well in excess of $1 billion, it looks as if it is just a matter of time before minnow Webis receives a similar interest.
There could in fact be interest from several quarters both in the USA and elsewhere.
Webis shares look extremely cheap on a market cap basis compared to Fanduel.

Sidny,

Another way of viewing the risk trade off - is is the more you spread your risk the less you can make. I'd argue spend your time learning and watching for quite a few months before buying anything else. Identify and research in depth only a few small likely high growth companies and back them heavily.

At the end of day your returns will be inversely proportional to the level of risk you run, but everyone has a different risk profile.

Best advice, don't ever just accept a RNS at face value, question it, relate to previous RNS, as companies quite often tend to be rather economical with the truth.

Paddy Power Betfair confirmed media speculation that it was in discussions regarding a potential acquisition of FanDuel to target the US sports betting market.

Fantasy sports site FanDuel is now worth over $1 billion. Daily fantasy sports sites are rapidly gaining popularity and investors are lining up to back the few industry leaders. FanDuel is the latest platform to cash in, announcing Tuesday it closed a $275 million Series E financing round.14 Jul 2015

Sidny

as you starting I suggest keep away to an aim stock and concentrate on the 250 as less cheating there and generally better volume

spread the risk among few company if you don't have the cash to spread the risk then but fund less exiting but a much better place to start than the aim

good luck

Sidny

Take every post with a pinch of salt

RNS is regulatory News Service, which is news companies have to release to the market as it's deemed price sensitive.

Read previous RNS's and annual reports..

WEB can be found here

Do some research into the chairman, directors, major share holders .. in this case, it would be Jim Mellon I'd focus my research on

Read the latest news stories around USA Gambling and the recent laws passed by the Supreme court and legislation coming in the UK on gambling.

Have a look at the different competitors & operators and look at their value and financials etc and compare

Good luck

There is also the danger they could issue equity to take advantage of the rise and future prospects.
