08/6/2021 08:27 | drsous, That is absolute nonsense. I have followed this share closely for about four years now and there has never been any such report suggesting that WATR was an accounting scam. | effortless cool
08/6/2021 07:07 | Great out of their short if it was them. | babbler
08/6/2021 06:56 | "great outnif this one if it was them". ??!! | smithie6
08/6/2021 06:56 | PBT is up 78%....red flag? | babbler
08/6/2021 06:54 | Those that didn't listen have trebled their money. Muddy didn't do that great outnif this one if it was them.USA expansion is big. They are on the ball with their managment here. Results were excellent.Cheers. | babbler
08/6/2021 06:52 | I got out of these a couple of years ago when a report was published (can't remember who but not muddy waters)suggesting this was an accounting scam.No idea if this was true and share price since has suggested otherwise but the report was quite detailed and the low PBT is a red flag. | drsous
08/6/2021 06:47 | Yup, the only negative is that PBT and EPS are below the forecasts in Stocko and Sharepad. Quite the forecasts are so high is a bit baffling as thewe told on 9 Feb that PBT would $4.2 - yet the forecasts are for $5.1 | glaws2
08/6/2021 06:30 | Got to be happy with that. 47% revenue growth in first four months versus 38% in the first three, although April 2020 must have been really hammered by the first COVID lockdown. Profit growth has just risen from 152% to March to 154% to April, so remains spectacular. | effortless cool
08/6/2021 06:18 | "Trading through 30 April 2021: 2021 has started with an even higher growth trajectory than its five year CAGR. Through 30 April, revenues have grown by 47% and statutory profits before tax by 154% against the same period in 2020, despite the Group's markets being adversely affected by the pandemic during both periods." "Dr. Patrick DeSouza, Executive Chairman of Water Intelligence, commented: "Despite Covid-19 disruptions, we delivered a breakthrough 2020 and an even more remarkable first third of 2021 with strong advances in every part of our business: financial results, operating KPIs, technology reinvestment to keep differentiating our brand, new business lines to address market demand and experienced leaders to strengthen both board and management as we move to the next level of corporate development. Our business is scaling rapidly." | metis20
10/5/2021 07:31 | Yet another national insurance account added - the third so far in 2021. | effortless cool
06/5/2021 12:12 | It got a bit carried away with itself last month. Hopefully will now consolidate in the high 800s. | effortless cool
06/5/2021 12:11 | Where's this heading? Probably some people taking profits. Not seen any news to say any issues | hsduk101
27/4/2021 09:09 | je je :-))) ------- I've made a few quid as well, just annoying that I didn't buy more or buy much earlier at a lower price. :-( C'est la vie. (but I'm doing well these weeks, months :-)) ) | smithie6
27/4/2021 08:10 | Smithie- Loadsamoney! Spelt wrong. Feels great. | epo4eva
27/4/2021 07:56 | "their rns" ;-) | smithie6

20/4/2021 07:12 | nice deal & quick innovative type of deal (if only UK companies would do more innovative deals of this type) | smithie6
20/4/2021 07:07 | Well, we don't know if it will be profitable or not yet, since what they have done is bought some IP and set up a subsidiary to sell it through. What is impressive to me is the rapid response to the perceived opportunity arising from the policies of President Biden. Pat deSouza does not stand still! | effortless cool
20/4/2021 06:59 | A profitable acquisition this morning. Lovely deal. | epo4eva
15/4/2021 18:10 | I think you are misrepresenting me - anyhow as you say we both hold. If you want to draw comfort from blue trades be my guest | davr0s
15/4/2021 17:13 | we have to be honest MMs are part of businesses, to make profits & the culture in the city is to pay a % or bonus to workers if they produce a good profit for the co. owners so, sure, MMs will move the spread, buy price, sell price around if they possibly can to make a bigger % spread on trades they make, and/or to encourage ppl to trade, cause that is how they make most of their money (a cut from trades, the spread) they are, of course, not there to try to provide a free service to benefit PIs or traders (which was what the interviewed person seemed to infer a few times !) but, yes, of course, if they can do solid volume & 1 MM can do 33% of the trades (if there are 3 MMs for 1 stock) & make say a 5% spread, & if the average trade size if say £3k well he can make good money. 5% of £3k is £150. if say 20 buy & 20 sell trades in 1 day then his turnover before costs is 20x £150= £3000. Then multiply by the number of stocks he operates & 20 days in a month... sure, detailing when MMs make losses etc etc, would be a long post. ( sure, in some illiquid stocks there is only 1 trade per day, irregardless of the spread there is no real money to be made there) In the last 12 months Winterfloods have been busy, & IG Index (as shown by their RNSs) & should have made bigger profits than in quieter years. | smithie6
15/4/2021 12:52 | smithie6- I too got the feeling he wasn't being entirely truthful about tree shakes. Glad it wasn't just me. | firtashia
15/4/2021 12:43 | How have any thoughts for what type of co. they might want to buy ? maybe a technology co. making products that they use, to be sole solution/provider to possible clients ? | smithie6
15/4/2021 12:26 | If they are going on the acquisition trail I'm expecting a placing any time soon | zipstuck |
