A significant franchise reacquisition today with Fort Worth.

Adding about $3.3m of revenue (after deducting current franchisee revenue) and purchased on a PE ratio of <9x.

I'll wait until the year-end trading report due early next month before updating my forecasts.

EBITDA 5.6$ million for H1

if we say 13$ million for the year
& if 20% tax
then EBIDA of ~10.4$ million

= ~£8.0 million

& this website says the cap. value is £165 million

(up to each person to decide if they think if the growth in recent years can be continued in the coming years)

----

& the MD said
"We are having a banner year and by the end of Q3, have already surpassed revenue, profit and EBITDA results for all of 2020"

-----

the shares are not cheap but the growth is there to justify it imo.

----

people who bought lower down are sitting on big profits....I guess that recently some profits are being pocketted, via some share sales, with the price falling from £13 to £9.50. :-(

I just had a quick look at liabilities & tangible assetts

in last annual accounts the 2 items roughly cancel out

& there is little or nothing in deferred/delayed income & little for future lease costs (~1.8 million in Dec 2020, = 2 years of lease costs), so it is quite simple to evaluate the numbers, imo

& with the recent cash raise the NTAV moves up to +£12 million (+ any other cash raises since last financial year, to check)

(& there is a chunk of value in intangibles)

some of the deferred items might be considered assets by many people

such as future income

you have to read the notes to the accounts to hopefully find a breakdown

----

future years of lease costs
you might want to consider to remove from your calcs. of real liabilities (since future turnover will pay those annual costs; wages are arguably also a liability like rent but are not classed as a liability by accounting rules)

deferred items. try to avoid getting a headache in quantifying things !

So having just raised £10m through a placing a month ago, they are now buying back shares. At least it's at a cheaper price!

Are the deferred items. Debt/liabilities or assets?

First time looking at WI.

I visited their website. It was very disappointing e.g. The Water Facts section refers to average household bills in 2008-09, the ALD News was for 2012 to 2015, and some pages on clicking were unavailable. Who knows when someone in the company last reviewed the website.

While the profit continues to increase the balance sheet at 30 June 2021 shows that Deferred Considerations rose from £5.6m at December 2020 to £17.0m. There was no explanation, that I could see, to explain the increase; nor how much related to cash outlay or share issue.

Too overpriced for me.
