What time was your trade and for how many shares? I'll go back through the order book to find it.

497 was my highest price paid as stated and as you know.

525 is c25p profit or c5%.

That's what I've banked.

Maybe I've missed further profits.....ok I'm happy with the flip, need to roll into another opportunity💰🍾🥂

"And down it sinks to 5"Why would you want it to drop when you bought at 497? Did you forgot you were long again?

I seem to remember Trump's last presidency was won on building a wall around Mexico, how did that work out?

Just a bit of scuttlebuctt .
My W7L holding is in my wife's ISA, and even though my first and second buys were in the £1s, because she would not buy the product she remains sceptical of the investment case . She was in the very large Superdrug in Westfield Stratford yesterday, which began stocking W7 at the end of September, she noticed the display and asked one of the staff what the customer reaction and sales had been like, " incredibly good " was the answer, this prompted a longer discussion during which the girl told my wife that within 6 weeks W7 had become that store's best selling 'cheaper' range.
Hopefully this bodes well for the upcoming TU.

Just wish I had some spare cash. A great time to buy with the Trading update imminent (next week possibly) and the run up to Christmas. The advent calendar Beauty Blast still No1 in Amazon.

John don’t sweat the small stuff, it’s just noise. Tariffs on Chinese goods by the US, retaliatory ones on US stuff, helps nobody and is mostly talk. Where they will most likely do it is on EVs as 6 of the top ten EV producers are chinese and BYD currently produce twice as many as Tesla. As everything else is made in China, I can see it won’t be long until we are all driving chinese cars but the world goes on. Even if W7l couldn’t avoid an increased tariff, their product is a fraction the price of the competition so I’m not losing sleep over that! News of Walmart sales will most likely move this next

Guess it depends on whether the cost is covered by price increases or efficiencies within the business.

On Interactive Investor, Warpaint was in top ten shares most traded today with 59% buys (not sure how accurate the buy trades is however)may be light. Not much of a raise in SP, hopefully the TU will be out soon.

Chinese imports will be hit hardest, but last time the US did deals with other countries to give them reduced tariffs.
We don't only manufacture in China so could use another factory.

There are some USA manufacturers, though where do all their raw materials come from?

As we are a budget brand, a few % on our price is a lot less than a few % on a premium brand. Even if margins are hit a few % then the USA is likely to be a boom market as we penetrate the retailers.

Big7Why won't it?A 10% to 20% blanket tariff will surely have an impact despite the fact H1 US sales was only 5% of group sales. Agree it's a minimal hit as it stands but the US is their future growth market.Goldman Sachs reckon for European companies Trumps tariffs will reduce earnings by 6% to 7%.
