14/7/2017 10:29 | In face check the 5 year chart out which illustrates where this should be heading. | tickboo
14/7/2017 10:28 | Wan have patents ensuring their data replication cannot be replicated ;) No rival can offer 100% uptime with data transfer, a good idea to check out their website and case studies. Now they don't seem to be burning cash I think more will take notice and I wouldn't be surprised to see this in double digits come year end. Things rarely go up in a straight line but this moved quickly downward and it's seemingly now moving quickly upwards. Check the 3 year chart out. | tickboo
14/7/2017 10:16 | They think not with regards their ability to do things in real time and so on with no loss of information substance. I have little time today but in essence they seem quite unique from what I can tell so far PI. Never around so much on a Friday. | hazl
14/7/2017 10:04 | Morning, Hazl, have these guys got any major competitors ? All seems to be going very well here. Just investigating at the moment. | panic investor
14/7/2017 09:58 | I think this is causing the conflict, with tech stocks but WAND is getting the contracts now so I am expecting this to be a good earner in the future. IMO. | hazl
13/7/2017 18:27 | I keep doing that, £6.15 for 2,835 is nowhere to be seen. Doubled checked and it went through. | tickboo
13/7/2017 17:24 | I would settle with a period of going sideways around the £6 mark. That would prepare the scene nicely for a leap beyond £7 level after the results. | rafieh
13/7/2017 17:16 | Not the best close. Not sure why my 2,835 at £5.15 isn't logged on here. | tickboo
13/7/2017 16:41 | Great pleased with that close. Start of the next leg up with any luck! | hazl
13/7/2017 15:40 | Tricky to tell buys from sells today as they keep altering the spread, but anyway, good to see some blue generally. IMO | hazl
13/7/2017 13:10 | Sounds rather large........ | hazl
13/7/2017 13:09 | Ah! We have somebody knowledgeable on board......I thought we might... thanks Hornblower....saves me looking it up. | hazl
13/7/2017 13:02 | a petabyte = 1,000 times a terabyte which is 1,000 times a gigabyte which is 1,000 times a megabyte which is 1,000 times a kilobyte which is 1,000 times a single byte. | horneblower
13/7/2017 12:23 | I somehow missed this, was it an RNS? Seems there should be more contract wins from existing clients, cross selling and getting more from new contract wins too. Not sure why I didn't spot this on here or via Vox.WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the world leader in Active Data Replication™, is pleased to announce several strategic customers have begun beta testing WANdisco Fusion's new Backup functionality as part of their existing contract with WANdisco.WANdisco Fusion for Backup features improved functionality for customers including:No backup-dedicated storage: WANdisco Fusion for Backup, unlike other solutions, does not require dedicated hardware leading to greater cost savings and ROINo scheduled backup period: Changes to data are recorded wherever they occur with automatic recovery in case of an outage from any point in timeOpt-in backup: An administrator can select subsets of content for backup to minimize costsLow overhead: Adding backup capabilities to a specific location imposes no additional overhead on regular Fusion operations for the source systemCross-target backups: Users can back up content to other Fusion supported environments, including from on-premises to cloud object storage such as Amazon S3 or GlacierNo administrator overhead: No additional time for maintenance is required once backup functionality has been enabledCo-existence: Fusion Backup works with regular Fusion continuous active-active replicationOther leading market solutions for backup need:Dedicated hardware for backup: Other solutions need dedicated resources for backup with no option of running analytics on data on these clustersScheduled backups: Other solutions require scheduled backups which either take a manual copy of the file system using DistCp or HDFS snapshots. Neither solution matches the functionality of active-active replication which enables continuous backup.David Richards, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of WANdisco, commented: "The rapid growth of mission-critical applications means companies cannot afford the risk of downtime and data loss. WANdisco Fusion continues to be the only solution available which can guarantee zero RTO in the event of an outage across multiple locations using our patented active data replication technology." | tickboo
13/7/2017 12:16 | I like the word 'petabyte' don't know why. No idea what it means...... | hazl
13/7/2017 11:44 | Interim report early August will hopefully move this on. My earlier trade still isn't showing. Guess it will pop up later. | tickboo
13/7/2017 11:43 | Indeed....'will it be magic'? | hazl
13/7/2017 10:30 | Yes I felt sure there would be people on the side-lines waiting to get in. I am really pleased to have found this share. | hazl
13/7/2017 10:14 | I believe WIRE is WH Ireland if I'm not mistaken. | djbilywiz
13/7/2017 10:02 | Sorry to dominate the board. We have a new market maker on the book, WIRE, interesting. | tickboo
13/7/2017 10:01 | I meant £6.15 which isn't showing yet. | tickboo
13/7/2017 09:57 | I assume there are buys, like mine, not showing given the movement this morning. I was hoping it would drop before another purchase but hey I'm here for the long term. | tickboo
13/7/2017 09:44 | I just got another 2,835 at £5.15 to take me to 45,000. This looks primed to move forward, was hoping it to move down before another purchase. Oh well. Exciting times. | tickboo
13/7/2017 09:07 | Cant buy at the ask, hopefully this is the move to 700p+ over coming days or so. | ileeman
12/7/2017 20:06 | This seems a great company and data seems to have been flagged up as important for the next foreseeable, that's what matters to me,rather than worrying about pennies. We don't know, there might even be a crash at some point. The point is we would never do anything if we don't make assumptions, and so, whilst I am not spending loads on anything just now, I am just accumulating a few that I think should be good for the future. Good luck people. H | hazl |
