10/7/2017 09:51 | Good luck tickboo with your recent purchase. These have the mark of longevity to me and I am trying to build up a few in that category. Trying to resist the very speculative.....thou | hazl
10/7/2017 09:31 | I still think this will go down a little before a decent bounce. As usual my timing is poor, bought my last 1,500 at £5.59 so nearly £1,000 down the pan. Oh well, as I keep saying, I'm in here for the long term. We've increased by 50% since I started buying in April at £4 so I hope the interim's are as good as we hope as I think with the contract wins solid interim's are being priced in. Hopefully really positive ones will see this beyond £7. | tickboo
10/7/2017 09:30 | Yes hornblow I saw them go wild last week. Agreed. | hazl
10/7/2017 09:15 | It is helpful to have got rid of the confusion of having the WAN2 shares, which ceased to trade last week. Onwards and upwards imo. | horneblower
10/7/2017 08:38 | The difference between here and some data firms is that WAND is bringing the services that the customers want. That is why it is leading to contracts. IMO | hazl
10/7/2017 06:58 | THANKS NIMBO | hazl
09/7/2017 20:58 | I don't think so. I think there was quite a bit of buying interest. I imagine that there will be an upward trend again. Results coming up. Tech recovery in the US after a few negative days. Well done nimrod shows the strength of your conviction to have held on through that time. As they say 'Data is the new oil .'! IMO | hazl
09/7/2017 17:36 | They have an amazing product but don't be disheartened if it goes down over the next week. Lots of buys in the last week and still down. Think it'll drop before a big bounce ahead of the interim report. A great future regardless. | tickboo
09/7/2017 17:14 | This share is coming in to its own and has many legs to run. I bought in a few years ago (about 20 grand, which was a mistake) but have nearly recovered my losses with the recent gains. I will certainly not be selling now, as their product appears to be ahead of its time, and their clients appear to be all top draw. | nimrod22
09/7/2017 16:42 | James Curtis May 9 2017 | Market Insight 'After releasing WANdisco Fusion two years ago and inking an OEM deal with IBM soon thereafter, WANdisco realized that its platform for active data replication for Hadoop is ideally suited to an indirect sales model.' | hazl
09/7/2017 15:00 | Although a couple of years old this explains very well the advantages that British Gas gained in using Wandisco I feel. | hazl
09/7/2017 14:39 | ' BIG DATA IS THE NEW OIL.' | hazl
07/7/2017 22:40 | We should be helped next week by the change of sentiment towards tech stocks. 'A rebound in tech stocks, which had come under strong selling pressure in recent days, helped major benchmarks to secure a foothold in positive territory and reverse weekly losses. 'ADVFN | hazl
07/7/2017 18:03 | I agree it's a great co with a great product but with a 50% increase since April it's not surprising it's pulling back, even if there is a lot of upside. My guess is it pulls back some more before a bounce that will take us well beyond £7. That said a chunky contract could land on Monday and propel us even higher. If not, a pull back before the next leg up isn't surprising or a bad thing. | tickboo
07/7/2017 17:58 | I think it is a good one tickboo and the main downside is the number of shares in issue. It will get knocked back on few sales and conversely up again with the reverse. Putting that to one side,I think it seems a good bet,it seems to be 'of the moment',in the data sector and getting healthy contracts. IMO | hazl
07/7/2017 16:19 | A little odd with the number of buys versus sells are we're down, a sell in the system perhaps? Maybe it will go lower before the inevitable bounce. My 1,500 at 6.59 last week was very premature...should have waited for the drop. Oh well, am here for the long term. | tickboo
07/7/2017 14:12 | anyone know what the last announced healthcare contract is worth? Yes hard to buy when news comes - just going to wait the volatility out. | nimbo1
07/7/2017 14:04 | It tends to move up very quickly, once news is out. | hazl
07/7/2017 09:30 | Just a wait for further contracts. IMO | hazl
07/7/2017 08:40 | I think there are quite a few people watching this like a hawk... so I'm back. Good luck people. | hazl
07/7/2017 08:25 | I see there are quite a few trades already | hazl
07/7/2017 08:23 | AGREE Nimbo. | hazl
07/7/2017 07:39 | hxxps://www.washingt Microsoft focussing even more on cloud... Wand could be a big company in a few years time imo :) | nimbo1 |
