14/2/2019 16:27 | Congrats to you all and especially tickboo and ktp To think I found a piece of paper today with my December notes saying buy 10,000 wand at 3.40 for my SIPP. Unactioned | nimbo1
14/2/2019 16:27 | Nice to end the day on a high | volsung
14/2/2019 16:26 | jackdaw, you cannot trust the buy/sell volumes, especially on a quick rising or falling share price Nearly always in these circumstances the buys are shown as sales. (There is a good technical reason for this.) | horneblower
14/2/2019 15:42 | I'm hoping the chartists are calling this correctly and we can get into the 8s. Maybe some of these large deals or the strategic one mentioned wanted a better looking balance sheet and dedicated personnel on their accounts so we needed to raise cash. Really hope we get some RNSs in the short term re deals. | tickboo
14/2/2019 15:39 | It wouldn't surprise me if it was a large holder from the raise at 5.50 a little over a year ago. Take some profit, fair enough if that's the case especially when they were underwater for a fair amount of time. | tickboo
14/2/2019 15:37 | That 111,000 sell wasn't me. volumes traded impressive but 140k sells and 40k buys one wonders why. | jackdaw4243
14/2/2019 13:08 | I'd love some big contract RNSs this month to carry momentum and get near to double figures. I like this but from DR -Our momentum in the second half has continued into January and our sales pipeline is the largest in the company's history. All of which, gives me confidence in our prospects for 2019 and beyond. The $17.5 million placing announced today is an excellent example of the Group's momentum, providing us with additional funding to leverage a number of significant opportunities to expand our existing partner relationships." | tickboo
14/2/2019 12:53 | I've been in WAND for many years and always thought that it would be a good takeover for one of the mega companies that use its product. May still happen; it would certainly see a large jump in share price | nimrod22
14/2/2019 12:31 | Owenski.. I think you are right on the money .. I am long but have stopped adding till I see revenue traction, to your point plenty of time and liquidity ahead if they start to hit numbers , buying strength has made many an investor wealthy .. buying early Has seen many more in the poor house. | knighttokingprawn
14/2/2019 11:26 | I'm surprised you've cashed out given we're still waiting on that chunky strategic deal under negotiation. I assume it'll be for a fair whack and imagine it'll be a 20% or higher day. That said, profit is profit and not to be sniffed at. | tickboo
14/2/2019 11:11 | I have cashed in , good luck all. | jackdaw4243
14/2/2019 10:45 | I had a very late on watching Spurs then carried on until the early hours. Not clever. To be fair others saw the raise coming but I felt with over $10m cash predicted coupled with recurring revenues and a good start to 2019 it wouldn't be necessary. I'm happy it was at a premium and as mentioned the IIs taking the shares know their onions so it looks positive. Wand are quite reliant on their partners and obviously Azure have been doing well but the others need to step up so the AWS announcement is also promising as is the pipeline although jam tomorrow is tiresome and they need to deliver a stellar 2019. Although it's positive the money was raised at a decent premium it was still below the raise just over a year ago at 5.50. Hopefully the chartists are right and this goes nearer to double figures than 5. I think they're a bit cheeky having missed forecasts (albeit a revised one was issued early Jan) to say they're inline with board expectations.Hey ho, onwards and upwards I think. The tech is unique and in a growing space so here's hoping this is the last raise and they stop churning through the cash. | tickboo
14/2/2019 09:02 | Technically, having bounced off support at 500p, this should regain 850p quite quickly. | horneblower
14/2/2019 09:02 | Looking good, with cloud expanding all the time | nimrod22
14/2/2019 08:48 | Cash wise, at least it's now funded for a full year. So I guess that removes a layer of risk. | owenski
14/2/2019 08:47 | Back to 1200p sharpish James. Don’t spare the horses! | volsung
14/2/2019 08:46 | KTKP, agree, nice summation. I've traded this but currently not in until I see financial traction. Not prepared to chase the price either. To be frank, either this is a 500m - 1bn dollar company or it aint. If their projections ever work out then no reason why it cant have a cap of 1bn, in which case I'm happy to wait and buy higher with some of the risk removed, no hurry. | owenski
14/2/2019 08:41 | Market likes it | volsung
14/2/2019 08:39 | Owenski, think your summary is right on the money. The cash year end at circa $10mn does look in line with street models... but clearly too light given their burn.. itt was a worry for me , but like you didnt see them going early on that and thought they would hit us with more revenue momnetum first.... i genuienley like the set up on this , and my channel checks suggest that the big guys really are taking an interest in what wand can do for them. AWS is significant announcemnet in this regard, I think we can expect more from MSFT also in short order... I am encouraged that the US investor base continue to back them for growth capital, i think these guys are smart .. and would not back a dead horse. I think there is a lot of reasons to be skeptical , but i have always thought that WAND if a US company would still be private and doing its dirty laundry in private, its close to exit in my opinion and whats more unlike many of my private investments I do have the final option of liquidty.. ( i cn always get out)... very binary but really exciting proposition... I ma rooting for them not just for my bank balance , but for UK tech... go wand. | knighttokingprawn
14/2/2019 07:59 | Cash at 31 December 2018 $10mCash at 30 June 2018 of $18.0 million (31 December 2017: $27.4 million)cash guzzling no end in sight. For all the partnerships etc this burns over $1mn a month.#bargepole | tsmith2
14/2/2019 07:54 | Interesting conundrum for any shorts? So we should have a look at £6 shortly - I see key resistance there...but this is good news I reckon. As is the AWS statement... | redrag1
14/2/2019 07:19 | did say placing ahoy | tsmith2
14/2/2019 07:19 | Tickboo any thoughts on the rns? Raising capital at a premium clearly positive as is the inline and strong end to the year. Clear they have been burning through the cash last year but that is in the past... | nimbo1
14/2/2019 07:18 | Impressive that they're raising at a premium. That in itself is an affirmation of WAND But, I wasn't expecting another raise, at least not yet and trading is only inline. Future sounds positive and obviously they're embedding themselves in their partner's eco structures, personally, I just want to see some big number sales deals closing to prove the model is working, it sounds to me like it's still early days for this technology. | owenski |
