01/9/2020 09:13 | Revenue up almost 100% last Quater, 30% prior Quater. Maybe Q3 will have revenue way beyond 100% up, Homesend finally starts making profit. And takeout will be 25 to 30p? With a counter bid highly likely | tomv33
01/9/2020 09:10 | It strange that usually SCSW tips sky rocket but the 2 main tips this month are only up 2% | johnv
01/9/2020 09:05 | Hardly the M-E-G-A buy that SCSW suggested....... | graham1ty
01/9/2020 08:07 | Cant buy any | johnv
01/9/2020 07:54 | The results only show “share of losses” of Homesend and there is no revenue or growth data. However, losses are sharply down, and the balance sheet looks good. FinnCap stick on a target price of 20p. Let us EE where this opens...... | graham1ty
31/8/2020 22:59 | Unless you are an insider and privy to the exit mechanism governing the relationship between MC and WJA you (me included) know nothing about the possible terms determining a consolidation. The most likely scenario is a pre-determined factor of revenue. Seems unlikely that an exit price would be less than the exercise price on management's options. | t0pgrader
31/8/2020 20:47 | Q3, end of October. But would like next year for a much higher price | tomv33
31/8/2020 20:05 | When do you think they will buy them out. Getting impatient. | jh420
31/8/2020 19:46 | I thought that was common sense, Graham. Yes even though it is a minority, its still 35% of Homesend, they would still have control in what goes on in Homesend as they are about the 30% threshold! | tomv33
31/8/2020 17:23 | I say between 25p to 32p, the bid will be. I might be wrong | tomv33
31/8/2020 17:22 | We all know John, the director, will not sell this cheap, he has over 2 million shares himself and he wants the best offer, like we all do | tomv33
31/8/2020 17:21 | Someone who can see the value of homesend in 5 years time? | tomv33
31/8/2020 17:13 | Tomv, while I wish you were right, who would counterbid to own a minority interest in a MasterCard controlled Homestart ? You get a plc which is effectively a holding company with one interest. The most likely “bidding” | graham1ty
31/8/2020 16:36 | There is nothing stopping a third party coming along and offering 25p after (if, for example) MC offers 20p. That may cause MC to change to a higher bid, or else it will cost a lot more for them to buy in the future | tomv33
31/8/2020 16:33 | I agree with kinbasket. There is only one player involved here - Mastercard - so there wont be any hostile bidding to inflate the price. Ultimately Wameja can either accept or reject a buyout offer from Mastercard. That means it would have to be a better deal than retaining their existing stake, which will add some reality to the valuation. | masurenguy
31/8/2020 14:41 | Some of the guesses for a takeout price here are way off the scale. It's nothing like Earthport. That was a hostile battle. Mastercard already own the major share in Homesend and are effectively insiders to current trading. They know what's happening in granular detail and know the value of Homesend. If it looks like it's working successfully they'll buy us out before we ever find out. It's highly unlikely anyone else would try a counter bid. Mastercard just absorb Wameja for a reasonable premium to current share price I still think 20p is best case scenario. Still a good upside but suggestions of 50p are tonto. | kinbasket
29/8/2020 21:50 | Earth port was valued around 7p, takeout price at 40p. Let's see if we can stay above 7p here before the next quarter | tomv33
29/8/2020 21:47 | In your mind, what would your final takeover price be? | tomv33
29/8/2020 21:47 | Glass half full, on Twitter, said on the last quarter the likely takeout price is 25p, THEN. If revenue is up, massively again, I'm wonder what the takeout price would be... | tomv33
29/8/2020 21:45 | I would rather wait an extra year for 40 or 50p, than have this taken out at 15 or 20p | tomv33
29/8/2020 21:45 | Earth port and VISA is a good ample. That's if your a investor, not a gambler. | tomv33
29/8/2020 21:44 | If MC offer 15p, or a silly price, the director will NOT sell and this will be valued close to £1, within a year or 2, with a massive dividence. | tomv33
29/8/2020 21:42 | It is fairly realistic. The director, wont sell this for 15p, he has 2 million shares himself | tomv33
29/8/2020 18:57 | Yes, 50p would be brilliant, but not a snowballs chance in hell. That would value WJA at £560m, and Homesend at $2.1bn. A nice dream, but hardly realistic....... Sadly | graham1ty
29/8/2020 16:14 | Yes same here, 40 to 50p takeover would be brilliant | tomv33 |
