Ah, but this time it's different... ;-)

Anyway, while we all go pig-spotting, I noticed that another broker updated its view - albeit down with price (marginally) yesterday.

hxxp://sharedealing.nandp.co.uk/broker-views/VLX/Volex-Group

Of course, they could just save us all the trouble and long wait and seek a friendly (or hostile, I'm not fussy...) takeover - albeit for a much reduced level following the rights issue. Gimme 150 and we'll call it quits. More airborne pigs...

Thanks for posting that, imastu. Yes, we have been here before. It always seems the projections look very impressive until the next results. I know the reasons for the exceptional costs are different every time but the regularity makes me feel like asking them to report them as "normal costs." Well, normal for a Volex annual report! We shall see. In the meantime I'm going to, yet again, give them the benefit of doubt.

Half Year presentation - nothing particularly new, but some visibility on transformational plan - and targets by 2018. Been here before with plans and targets, however...

Slide 3 - "Tripled sales pipeline with significant new business wins"

Slide 5 - top 5 customers have remained in good shape - it's all the rest that have gone wrong (until H1 2015 - the only way is up...)

Yeah, I've had my beating in her at times too! :-(

Looking at the volume today it looks like seller(s) have got a lot of stock away so perhaps a decent bounce imminent.

All imo/

I am in today. I think this is the bottom. The placing was at 76p. Not very often you can get in at 16%ish cheaper. Even if the turnaround doesn't come to fruition, it can certainly bounce from here. Looking to see 76p in the short-term and possibly 90p in a few months.

I don't just buy bowls supasapi - sometimes there value there that the mkt misses imo.

There's about £300m sales here on a mkt cap £60m. There's only about £4m of net debt and cash generative. They are profitable pre- exceptionals.

Just loos like value after that fall imo.

Up today on large trades late Friday and this am so perhaps the seller(s) of recent days has cleared.

All imo/dyor etc
