1394 - that write-up is very good - informed, accurate and includes all the salient points as to why it's a great opportunity. Hope it gets wider coverage, thanks for posting.

Some fairly consistent buying today. Spread has tightened as well.

Ex div (3 cents or 2 pence) next Wednesday - surely not a reason to buying, given the spread?

Next leg up here after a bit of consolidation, still a gap on the chart to 150p.

It's farcical, isn't it - up or down 5% on £400 worth of trades. Chart patterns change completely, all the sages change their pontifications and prognoses - all for nothing.

Back in the deep freeze, it seems.

That "rise" was a mirage. Spread is still 105-112. ADVFN reports price at last trade price, not mid price.

it's not liquid share.

bought 10K and caused 4% rise.

wish CR's track records could bring me some lucks here.

imatsu, I agree that the market being laid on by the MMs is garbage. They are sat at 105 - 112 as they have been for a couple of weeks. I wonder if that 32k transaction at 108.91p was a purchase from them? They have been selling mainly at 110p. We really could do with a positive news item or a sign of someone buying in a stake.

Some real nonsense with the headline price - all trades bar 2 x 92 are at the buying price, as are all the trades on the ISDX market:

and the share price is quoted as the 92 trades price, down 4% etc - all £200 of it.

Patience...

"does that not make costs more expensive for Volex as copper is a raw material to bought for use in the products?"

Yes but copper price is an indicator of the demand from the industries using it therefore more demand the higher the price.

Seller and a buyer, Toffeeman. The buyer was on the bid with 17,100 @ 110p yesterday and this morning before he was taken out by a lot of 2,000 nibbles. Most of today's trades apart from those ones were also around 110p so that seems to be the equilibrium price right now.

The MMs are not interested at all. with a best bid of 105p and a best offer of 112p. Until those boys narrow the spread, there will be no action.
