Always wary of private groups as they tend to be cheerleading. Negative opinion is worthwhile, but not spamming.

Spud. Good idea this thread. I don't participate much, but drop in now and again to look at comments/research. VOD is my single largest holding as my defensive stock. Just a thought, have you considered a private twitter group where you can weed the dross out? I'm in a few for other stocks and they generally work well.

This used to be a thread with good value adding comments. Now this is like an AIM thread with just plenty of noise!

Steer clear of Metro. Cannot survive - can't x sell as does not have product range plus cost of regulatory framework is too highImpossible to take on HSBC and others in this market. Plus when push comes to shove where are you going to deposit large sums - HSBC, Barc, Lloy as there is more of a trust that security is strong and you would get money back

Sentiment what on Earth are you talking about? Metro is a hopeless investment. How can a bank actually opening branches when the entire industry is going online and heavily reducing cost income ratios possibly survive? Answer it can’t! If you are investing in this you will lose most if not all your equity when it is bailed out.

Vodafone joins up with Microsoft September 25, 2019 Vodafone has partnered with Microsoft to help shape the future of mobile game streaming. The two companies have entered a technical partnership to optimise the technology for gamers in the UK. Vodafone customers have the opportunity to be amongst the first to preview Project xCloud, Microsoft’s new game streaming technology, if they sign up at www.xbox.com/xbox-game-streaming. Project xCloud will enable true ‘gaming on the go’ so players can enjoy some of their favourite Xbox console games on their smartphone or tablet. Vodafone’s 5G network is perfect for game streaming and will allow players to have the ultimate gaming experience on the go. Vodafone is the first network in the UK to collaborate with Microsoft to improve Project xCloud’s performance on its network. The trials will begin in October 2019 and Vodafone customers have an opportunity to be amongst the first to try it by registering for the preview. They can register here today and Microsoft will send out invites in the coming weeks. Those customers selected to take part will be the first to help optimise the cloud gaming experience on Vodafone’s 5G and 4G networks, and enjoy some of Xbox’s most popular games including Gears 5, Halo 5: Guardians and Sea of Thieves. A critical component of these trials is to better understand how the technology will work on mobile networks, and to understand how 5G and 4G networks can best support gamers. Participants will need the following to take part – a phone or tablet running Android 6.0 or higher and Bluetooth 4.0, a Microsoft account and a Bluetooth-enabled Xbox One wireless controller. A phone mount for the controller is also recommended. -ends- spud

Lol - don't need to even bother looking as it was in a downtrend and that automatically excludes it from my watch list. Ok now looked -35%. There were people on TCG board suggesting they put their money into MTRO to regain their losses. Lol again

metro board today is the finest expression of sentimentR's deception; his total lack of knowledge, experience and commonsense exposed for all to see. Believe his words at your peril. He knows nothing and he brings nothing useful to these boards.

Vodafone switches on 5G in Hesse 23 Sep 2019 The Ministry for Digital Strategy and Development of Hesse has announced that Vodafone has switched on the first three 5G base stations in the federal state. Coverage is currently available in the Sossenheim area of Frankfurt and in Offenbach. The development follows the signing of an agreement between the state of Hesse and mobile operators last year, which will ultimately lead to the deployment of 800 new base stations and the upgrade of a further 4,000 to achieve comprehensive 4G and 5G coverage. As previously reported by CommsUpdate, Vodafone announced the commercial launch of 5G services for consumers in July 2019, with its first 25 5G base stations switched on in 20 cities and communities at that date. spud
