Before C19 this was well on it's way, looks like it's now time to play catch up.

Yes hold tight, hard to say but could even jump to 120p given recovery other pub related plays have seen.

The past is behind, vnet was in a difficult position but has managed through Covid remarkable well. I'm sure the trajectory of Jan 2020 will soon re-establish with vigour, in particular the move away from physical cash will be a big driver, contactless is the way forward.

As positive an update as could be hoped for really, importantly cost seem pretty well contained. Outlook will only improve from here as things open up.

I'd be interested to know whether it's just exuberance at the thought of the pubs reopening or excitement about developments on the other side of the business.

Steady buying, wouldn't be surprised if we even reach 120p given ongoing recovery of some other shares.

Thanks also from me for posting that article. Surprisingly informative despite the spin. Good to know what they've been spending the cash on.

End of year is 2 weeks away - so they must have a good idea of the outturn already with all their fancy software? There has been no trading statement and no fund raising - yet - Which may also have a bearing on the recent buying?

cheers

Yes, it's been an amazing ride. Can only guess it's due to buzz around SmartVend. www.planet-vending.com/mark-parry-of-vianet-my-names-above-the-door-its-down-to-me/
"There’s a lot riding on the successful launch of this latest development, which Mark refers to as ‘an absolute game-changer for us and the industry as it will be the first platform to fully integrate functionality that currently exists across multiple platforms. Vending operators use either existing Vianet systems or the Vendmanager management software, but there is no system currently in the market that fully integrates contactless & telemetry data with these ERP systems in a seamless way. There’s nothing out there that currently delivers feature rich functionality, insight and analytics as an end-to-end solution, but we will change that this year’, he said."

There has to be more to this than meets the eye surely? The recent - and apparently ongoing - rise seems to be well ahead of any recovery in the underlying business.

It's just market recovery catch up. Was well and truly left behind. Not so much the case now.
