Decent results, perhaps back to the pre CV levels?Interesting addition in the text..We have been working hard in recent weeks to drive our Technology roadmap forward and also progress some exciting new product development opportunities, including potential new verticals for our contactless payment solution, new features for Smart Zones customers, and establishing a C19 sanitisation service for pubs and bars.In the past month, in partnership with Filta Group Holdings plc, we have introduced Vianet Smart Shield, which is a C19 sanitisation service which kills C19 and provides 30-day protection. The solution utilises an existing certified product and vapour applicator. Initial interest has been encouraging and we are also introducing to vending operators for sanitisation of keypads.

Watching this one. This caught my eye whilst reading through a few reports this morning:

"In the past month, in partnership with Filta Group Holdings plc, we have introduced Vianet Smart Shield, which is a C19 sanitisation service which kills C19 and provides 30-day protection. The solution utilises an existing certified product and vapour applicator. Initial interest has been encouraging and we are also introducing to vending operators for sanitisation of keypads"

These Covid-19 solution/vaccine (hell any form of update) usually send the stocks nuts northwards so be interesting to see how the exchanges progress here today.

With £4m profits already confirmed against a £24m mkt cap it will be more about the outlook. Should fly if the outlook is improving

Ah, I see, you bought at or near the bottom so well done! I have held for quite a while and am just hoping they will get back to previous levels at some point.

100p was my target so near enough in my book. Nothing against Vianet but still a lot of uncertainties going forward as with a lot of companies. Also feel the covid19 market recovery has peaked somewhat so happy to take profits. Have done likewise in many other holdings yesterday and today.Am running a few larger holdings in Avacta, Westminster group and Kape fwiw.

The directors have not re-mortgaged their houses to pile into the shares but at least they bought a few.

Nice turnaround. Hopefully that's the bottom for now and that morning drop flushed out the last of the sellers.

Thank you for that, suppose the biggest risk is even at a reduced rate it's a waiting game to see when the pub ban is lifted as looks like with the quoted " reconnection fee" could make life difficult for the company, although if it's a cost saving device for efficiency why would any owner be inclined to cut that first?

potts - the measuring devices in pubs (Smart Zones) is about half the turnover, from memory, but it provides most of the profits. But it's essentially a non-growth cash cow business.

The Smart Machines business is all over the place - monitoring vending machines and coffee making machines in petrol stations, railways stations, etc etc. Also converting them from coins to contactless, and taking a monthly fee.

They are definitely doing the right thing in slashing their fees in the short term, and building them back up again when normality gradually returns.
