26/3/2014 16:29 | I'll just settle for a commercial future for VEC. That's my goal there ;-) Unsurprising the transfer was delayed. Look on the website under News Announcements, Events "Finding Petroleum Forum at the Royal Geological Society in London on 9 November 2011" Have they really not updated and removed this for nearly 2 1/2 years! Ahhh yes, in Vialogy-Time (tm), that's a blink of the eye. New patent pending - VEC-Time. lol | twix386
26/3/2014 16:22 | I'll settle for CGG take up 25% stake in VEC, they do all sales and marketing? No need for BD's position, hmmm! VEC are funded from this $5m - $20m Well you did ask Lol | jimb2
26/3/2014 16:00 | Transfer delayed - ?? Otherwise hope you are right jimb2 and you could well be ;-) | twix386
26/3/2014 15:58 | Just wonder why it's been announced today when it was mentioned in the initial restructuring as: if Shareholder approval is obtained at the General Meeting, it is anticipated that the VEC Transfer will take effect on or before 31 December 2013. So we've been awaiting VEC news for three months that maybe couldn't be disclosed? | jimb2
26/3/2014 15:53 | VEC got rid of | timmbo
26/3/2014 15:51 | VEC is go, but no fireworks! | ewads
26/3/2014 15:50 | twix386, I wonder if end of March was a target for VEC to deliver news, looks that way to me, and then we have the investors exhibition on April 5th, I would imagine AR wants something from VEC to pitch at possible investors. I'm expecting another RNS before end of March. GL | jimb2
26/3/2014 15:26 | Well, yes, okay, fine More progress/housekeepin We'll be getting it all back if SG lives up to his normal delivery expectations. At least AR seems to be actively involved in VEC's strategy - probably given Sandeep a dummy and put him the the commercial crib! | twix386
26/3/2014 15:25 | What does this mean ? | anderson3

26/3/2014 13:51 | Plunging you must be seeing something i a not gemstar!! Its been holding v well around the .20 mark for a while now and good base before news comes out imho... | mhw28865

24/3/2014 19:26 | 1Marvin, I wish I had a better idea of why they haven't achieved the anticipated growth, it's looking like we have to accept the tech failed to deliver, now was the tech flawed or bad management (yes both is looking more likely) Strange the first address we have from AR comes after the resignation of BD and now it looks as if he might be actively behind QRD and the strategic partnership. A new US-based company, ViaLogy Energy Corp (VEC), has been established to arrange the worldwide sales and marketing of oil and gas related applications for the ViaLogy technology, QuantumRD. ViaLogy PLC retains a 75% holding in VEC and intends to offer 25% to a strategic partner. ViaLogy's new Board of directors and management team, under the direction of Executive Chairman Adam Reynolds, are actively seeking to implement the new investing strategy of the Company and a further announcement will be made as arrangements are finalised. looking very likely to be CGG, well it's all over the restructuring info and included in the AGM presenation. BD: EXPAND BUSINESS IN UPSTREAM O&G SECTOR (CGG IS KEY) reduced operating costs through more automated proc ess/goal is one year break-even SG VEC (Private Entity) ― Pasadena (R&D) + Houston (mktg./sales) ― Grow O&G business; CGG channel ― ------- CGG-ViaLogy Business Agreement provides ability to work out of CGG global centers for performing in-country O&G services access to unparalleled highly specialized technical expertise Geophysics, petrophysics, hydrophysics, geology CGG Divisions Fugro, Sercel world leaders in sensor s, electromagnetics, precision-sensing business-qualificati sales channel business introductions; on performance basis December interims: The signing of a Business and Technical Collaboration Agreement with CGG (NYSE: CGG, Euronext: CGG: PA, www.cgg.com) of France, one of the world's largest geosciences companies. It provides ViaLogy with global sales and services locations, access to CGG customers, assistance in scaling ViaLogy's QuantumRD technology to large geographical areas, and specialised high tech data processing to prepare seismic datasets for QuantumRD. So maybe CGG actually want to pursue the strategic partnership but with a percentage of VEC, afterall since the collaboration back in April last year Viy are in a much weaker position to dicate terms. 24/3/2014 17:26 | jimb2, If we are giving 25% and the proposed $5 mill, expected us to drop down to 62.5% not 50%, I wonder how much dilution SG is accepting for the strategic partnership last hope as I assume Chevron and CGG aren't interested then? As an out of the box suggestion.....we should welcome the IP back, offer jobs to Veejay D and the other guy who SG took with him and get in someone to replace SG's hope, talk-up and failure strategy. SG is not the only clever guy, especially now QRD is more automated and plug & play etc. Maybe it would even be the making of QRD. I have had it with SG's promises so let him live at the foodbank like his shareholders. He's just had more Vialogy options recently. It beggars belief he isn't held to account as I don't think he is indispensible any longer and if he is then we'll go with AR alone and a plan B with the IP ourselves. Just venting at a decade of disaster and now if we get strategic partners, down to 50%. Who can tell me what SG's %age falls by with this strategic partnership offer? Didn't he just get another wad of Vialogy options a couple of days ago. He holds us to ransom. Sling him out with the other failures and have done with it!! | 1marvin
24/3/2014 17:22 | Lets hope you are right Jim as we have all been waiting patiently for some decent news for what feels like decades .. Well some of us anyway (wont mention any names) Twix :-) | mhw28865
24/3/2014 17:14 | Maybe AR is gearing up for the UK investors exhibition on April 5th, I wonder what we are getting for the 25% offering to our strategic partner? I would imagine news on this would be a good bargaining tool! So another RNS in the next nine trading days should be expected, imvho Gl | jimb2
24/3/2014 09:54 | Checkout sea.l new tech taking bluechips by storm you thank me later a bit like viy but they getting paid | kyote
24/3/2014 09:35 | what, our main man for contract negs these last years an obstacle! If that was the case he should have gone years ago and maybe there'd be no VEC - just Vialogy. oh well, worse things happen at sea and we've been all at sea for years. | 1marvin
24/3/2014 09:33 | Hope so Jim, it would be nice to get a return on QRD in the end. | spec7
24/3/2014 09:15 | Well they are looking for a strategic partner and to develop Worldwide sales of the tech, that doesn't sound as if QRD or VEC is dead, maybe BD was an obstacle to the likes of CGG? | jimb2
24/3/2014 09:06 | VEC = dead duck | timmbo
24/3/2014 08:36 | if I am right we expected to hold 62.5% after the $5 mill was raised (down from 75%), so assuming nothing fundamental has changed doesn't this mean that either we are giving away a further 12.5% or equally raising more than $5 mill. | 1marvin
24/3/2014 07:42 | it just gets worse ! what is the investment case...hope? | sharemasterflash |
