27/1/2014 17:58 | DJ we are on the same page, i said 1m but hope you are right. Will we see consolidation now ? they will have to get the in issue figures down and the share price to a sensible level to raise further operating cash. | ![]() spec7
27/1/2014 17:55 | Neily - I think you need to revisit your numbers. Open offers are quite expensive to administer which is why VIY never went down this route before. (desperate times and all that!) They have also had some expensive financial and legal advice part of which has been settled with shares at 30m at 0.1p which I think will hit the market quite quickly. Add to that Creditors (inc Salaries) given they have been running on fumes for two months Likely to have around £1.2m or about 0.045p/share in cash - VEC holding therefore valued at circa 0.1p or £2.7m Dave Jones | ![]() dj trading
27/1/2014 17:52 | Losing 98% over 10 years does make me pretty miserable Prophet. Thank goodness VIY was only a small part of my portfolio. Just wish I had never heard of AIM and I do not think I am the only who thinks that. | ![]() greenpastures2
27/1/2014 17:50 | pending announcement.......I would imagine tomorrow or very shortly after as placees would of been sold on this turnaround. News is required to prevent sell off. News will come imo, providing the strategy and new vision. imo, imo, imo | ![]() neilyb675
27/1/2014 17:41 | "new company, new vision, new strategy" Lets hope so. Could you explain the vision, the strategy or the business of the new company ? We all want this to do well but lets keep it in perspective, we know nothing yet. | ![]() spec7
27/1/2014 17:29 | ah, thats with the 1,000:1 consolidation! | ![]() the prophet
27/1/2014 17:27 | £1.27 by Xmas | ![]() mikey_b
27/1/2014 17:26 | The Open Offer and Placing have therefore raised a total of £1,619,820 (before expenses). Expenses aint gonna that much, so they got £1.5 mill approx. in cash. Turnaround starts now. | ![]() neilyb675
27/1/2014 17:18 | Hi DC One would like to think so but until we know what they are doing, who's to know. We dont know what they are paying themselves and we dont know what the fee's for the placing were. there will also be reorganisation fee's and did they pay Bond off ? We also have to expect further heavy dilution if they are really going on the acquisition trail, they will not get much for 1m. | ![]() spec7
27/1/2014 17:10 | new company, new vision, new strategy, new BoD, new shareholders........ | ![]() neilyb675
27/1/2014 17:07 | Spec, surely cash burn for the PLC is now greatly reduced, as most of the past high cost was for the development of QRD, which is now in the hands of VEC. | ![]() dire cons
27/1/2014 16:33 | No idea Dave, absolutely none! GL | ![]() jimb2
27/1/2014 16:30 | Looks like whoever went to the meeting heard something they liked. Note the 10m buy this afternoon and the tick up in both bid and ask. | ![]() the skipper
27/1/2014 16:27 | Well some very large buys have gone through this afternoon, including one of 10m. Looks like we should all be making a nice profit from the open offer shares anyway. | ![]() the skipper
27/1/2014 16:23 | Not sure the over subscription is such a vote of confidence. I subscribed for extra too but seeing that a half million was only costing £500 it was more a punt than anything else. Yes DJ I thought the same too when I saw those figures in the announcement. | ![]() greenpastures2
27/1/2014 16:11 | Fair point Jim Presumably you don't think they will meet the VEC $20m valuation either! Alternate measure - looking back - about 5 days pay! Dave | ![]() dj trading
27/1/2014 14:58 | Don't forget the investment by SG and BD equates to 325 years salary for SG and 121 for BD, hence the only conclusion is that something really big is about to happen. Hmmmmmmm! | ![]() jimb2
27/1/2014 14:56 | We plod along with absolutely no idea as usual....... | timmbo
27/1/2014 14:33 | placing fully subscribed, as I suggested, theres your vote of confidence, together with Reynold/Mustoe's £225K re BD/SG, surprised they put in anything at all, tbh. They have more than enough on their plate re getting funding for VEC, clearly thats where their interests lie. | ![]() the prophet
27/1/2014 14:27 | With so many bucket shop clients looking to sell I would not rule out it falling much below 0.10p | stockonomist
27/1/2014 14:22 | i'll buy more at 0.1 stock and i'm sure others will too so stfu and jog along | ![]() rajaster
27/1/2014 14:20 | and they admit they may have to issue more shares for any deal ! | stockonomist |
