27/9/2010 10:52 | Been closing my short positions Friday and today (which might explain a few of the apparent buys). Now got no position. | m.t.glass

03/9/2010 00:24 | i would say todays spike in trade volume looks like what has been depressing the share price over the past 2 months or so. hopefully this is the last from the seller and it could be a good opportunity to jump on board at this level | empirestate
22/7/2010 15:18 | Fair point. | m.t.glass
22/7/2010 14:32 | Most motor Groups allow 3 years from acquisition to get a dealership up and running correctly, it is only 8 months till the start of the 2011 2012 year so they are attempting to do it in less than half that time. So disagree about it being unambitious. Tangible nav 37 p No Debt No pension deficit Cash in Bank What other motor group has all that. | ferries5
22/7/2010 09:09 | In today's AGM statement from Vertu Motors (VTU), who are building a chain of car dealerships by buying up failed or failing ones: "..these acquisitions are expected to be earnings enhancing in the year ending February 2012..." Sounds an unambitiously slow turnaround plan for the two sites named - leaving ample scope to declare ongoing losses in between now and then. Are their bankers going to tolerate ongoing lossmaking acquisitions at the current rate without seeing faster recovery in earlier ones? | m.t.glass
12/7/2010 11:22 | summer drought of buyers letting this one slip, will buy prior to AGM on 22 july | empirestate
02/7/2010 14:28 | Sector ripe for a rebound I reckon. Lookers(LOOK) put in a clear double bottom on the Chart yesterday imo. Powerful Buying signal. | essentialinvestor

01/7/2010 11:10 | VTU is not a motor manufacturer and does not rely on government subsidies for manufacturing - what is your point in posting this article ? | ukinvestor220
28/5/2010 15:49 | am not holding any longer, certainly looks like the seller is getting the better of this one | empirestate

14/5/2010 14:12 | GTE on the bid 13/13.5, hopefully some news coming, keep em peeled | empirestate
12/5/2010 16:45 | essential, the only thing holding this back is the seller, under normal circumstances this would have been 40p + on the back of todays statement. when the previous sell order cleared it took five minutes and a very small amount of purchases to move the share price up a gear. hopefully, what ever the order size is it won't take too long to take out. | empirestate
12/5/2010 07:17 | u can't ask for to much more than those numbers and outlook | empirestate |
