01/3/2016 08:41 | Very pleased with todays annoucement, Mercedes sites added. | mortimer7
01/3/2016 07:44 | Lets hope VTU put their web design team to work on that rather dark site. | marine boy
23/2/2016 16:12 | Pre close trading update due early March after financial year end in February. Remember their statement on publication of the interims on 14th October 2015 contained this:- "The Board now anticipates that, given the current performance of the Group and market trends, the full year result will be ahead of current expectations" At that point the share price was 68p, currently around 65p, so IMO some scope for an uplift. | mortimer7
23/2/2016 16:04 | Ex Vauxhall Motors chairman, Tim Tozer, to join Vertu from 1st March in new role as Operations Director..... | mortimer7
16/2/2016 08:17 | Bought back in yesterday. Noticed PDG results this morning, and fully expect VTU to be similarly impressive and anticipate a strong indication in the pre-close trading update expected at the beginning of March. | mortimer7
16/2/2016 06:26 | Liberum reiterate Vertu Motors are very oversold at these levels retaining an immediate price target of 100phttp://www.riser | daddy2010
10/2/2016 16:21 | Assuming growth in EPS at 17% as was the case 2014 - 2015 & PE ratio stays iro 13, that would put share price at 74 - 75p. Update due early March. Another share whose fall is way overdone. | marine boy
10/2/2016 14:56 | Slow to recover from the market fall but picking up now. | marine boy
08/2/2016 15:55 | Just discovered I'm no longer a holder - stop loss triggered. I suppose that's what they're there for. Been in 3 years from around 42p and hope to be back soon as I firmly believe VTU won't be around these levels for long. | mortimer7
04/2/2016 11:48 | Ferries, That looks a different site! They appear to be developing 2 locations in Leeds, 1 the old BMW Stratstone site in Sheepshill for LandRover and also this one. | cockerhoop
04/2/2016 11:30 | Another link to the Leeds landrover deal, with a bit more meat . Does not look like they own the site Yet !! ? | ferries5
04/2/2016 09:08 | SMMT figures for January new car registrations issued today. Best January since 2005 for new car market as registrations increase 2.9% year on year to 169,678 units. Private registrations fuel growth, up 8.2% to 73,061 vehicles – the highest level since 2004. | mortimer7
02/2/2016 10:30 | Good spot. Do they own that site? | zoolook
02/2/2016 09:43 | Vertu's Leeds Land Rover dealership has received planning approval to construct and relocate to a new £7.5m retail development:- | mortimer7
29/1/2016 16:45 | Computer-run portfolios marginally adjusting their holdings. Just as well registrars no longer print certificates for each trade. | coolen
29/1/2016 16:11 | What's with all these small AT trades. | marine boy
29/1/2016 15:24 | ferries5 - I like their website revamp. Dynamic but not too busy. Pleasing use of colours. Professional & personal. Top marks from me. hxxp://www.vertumoto | marine boy
25/1/2016 08:39 | Further acquisition announced today of 3 Honda dealerships all in territories adjacent to their existing ones. As stated, this should be key in achieving synergies. Also as current "Honda Dealer Group of the Year in December 2015 for the second successive year" VTU seem well placed to out perform the previous encumbents of these sites. | mortimer7
19/1/2016 08:20 | Simon Thompson's tip did help the Cambria share price but VTU is also one of his picks and tipped recently - December? when Aceparts acquisition was announced. I don't see any obvious reason for the divergence in the two sp's. Renault seems to be a very small part of VTU's business. Did the VW affair effect the price? Maybe Mortimer is correct in the hypothesis of peeps switching. | eggbaconandbubble
17/1/2016 15:43 | CAMB was tipped by Simon Thompson in the IC on 12 Jan. Might have helped the share price | alter ego
17/1/2016 15:01 | It is very difficult to understand the reason for the sharp drop in the share price which affected all car dealerships alike except, rather strangely, CAMB. The apparent slowing growth in China and the steep fall in the oil price are more likely to delay interest rate rises. The lower petrol prices will leave consumers with more disposable income. All of this is good for car retailers in my view. The forecast PE for the current financial year is about 12 and the EV to EBITDA multiple is much lower because of a fairly large depreciation figure and the fact that VTU is cash positive. There is also the Hereford VW/Audi dealer which was purchased in October to take into account in the H2 results. Stockopedia has a Stock Rank of 95 and a Value/Momentum Rank of 98. This is just my personal view and I might be completely wrong, but VTU seems good value to me at the moment notwithstanding the panic selling which is going on at the moment. Time will tell I guess. | kpwf
15/1/2016 10:44 | VTU and CAMB were both 77p on 16th Dec, now VTU 71p, CAMB 86p. Wonder if people are switching. Personally I'm in both & happy to hold. | mortimer7 |
