01/9/2021 21:58 | Mav, that's NO way to speak to a prospective shareholder!Talk about #VRSfamily, so so sad. | festario
01/9/2021 20:41 | Well 1% to 2% chance of rain tomorrow in Manchester, 20 something deg C. Is that ok for pouring concrete? What about Bolton job? Drum roll - the excitement mounts. | laginaneil
01/9/2021 20:36 | Hello Forgotten, I seem to remember Directa Plus are a 'customer and competitor' comment some place way back. So I wonder who's graphene they are using? Maybe thinking of wrong company... | laginaneil
01/9/2021 20:35 | VRS appointed Yellow Jersey to undertake their PR - they are sh*te, so until the business starts making decent money, Im quite happy for Neill to use free publicity I.e. social media. Unfortunately you sometimes get undesirables trying to catch Neill out but they are the same people that do likewise on this thread - Neill can handle himself and continues to get relevant non-RNS news to his investors via this free channel , such as today's construction white paper. Neill is doing no less than any other AIM company boss - plenty more out there posting on Twitter. I do agree to the website though - needs improving but would prefer to see some big orders coming through if there was a choice in priority. | cheek212

01/9/2021 20:06 | I think he's hoping to buy one of these with the saving Mav ? 🤔 | boochy gongles
01/9/2021 20:00 | And there you have it for 2 reasons 1. You try to use what little influence you have to try and help the price down and yet can't justify why it will get to that price 2. You are concerned about saving £3.99 or whatever your free trade might be And yet you spend hours here wasting time on a share and company you say you don't have any interest in.Which personality is giving the other half a break today I know nooothing | mavfav
01/9/2021 19:51 | This (in my opinion) excellent piece of work was criminally neglected the first time it was posted, only receiving a derisory FOUR ticks. So with great reluctance I am reposting using Cotswold's ReFace nonsense, hoping it will be met with a more respectable response this time. One must 'move with the times' I suppose 🤔 | boochy gongles
01/9/2021 19:07 | Laginaneil, to follow up on the REACH comments earlier, Directa Plus is a joint applicant on the same application as Versarien for the 10 to 100 tonnage band. The material registered covers a wide range of graphene types by virtue of the type of application it is, but for Dplus it covers GNP type materials. | forgottenchameleon
01/9/2021 18:01 | From the summary of the report: The current global climate change crisis represents a crucial opportunity for the construction sector. Currently the industry standards don’t always fit with graphene enhanced concrete and traditional standards and metrics will require changing and renewing. The drive towards net zero carbon has created the momentum for industry and sector leaders to collaborate with the new advanced material engineered towards this common goal. The future opportunities are endless and graphene will no doubt solve many challenges that have yet to be identified. Initially a ‘greener’ materials and with a lower carbon footprint will become commonplace. Once the construction sector sees repeatable, real world evidence, the momentum to use this technology will snowball. In anticipation, the graphene engineers and scientists are constantly breaking new boundaries and producing new grades to service the demand. Versarien is at the forefront of this charge and is reaching out to the world to help find the challenges that graphene can resolve. | nemo19

01/9/2021 16:23 | Flatcoat, I agree to an extent that some councils will need to be forced to adopt a new road surfacing strategy, rather than the short sighted repair what we have approach, but IMO, this is where UK Gov will start to dictate a different approach. Ultimately, UK Gov is committing to challenging net zero carbon targets and any technology that will significantly reduce local authority carbon footprints will be pushed hard in the next few years. There is also a significant step change in terms of infrastructure development that will most likely adopt new road surface technology in any new road builds, major resurfacing projects and this is where the new graphene tech will be seriously considered. Once adopted, it will be in each councils best interest to monitor and repair pro actively, as the cost will be significantly reduced, so any tech that will enable early identification will be readily adopted. Ultimately some councils will take longer than others to get on board, but if the test/pilot data is compelling, they may not have a choice. | schmally
01/9/2021 16:23 | Another day where sells are increasing and buyers nowhere to be seen. Wonder when management might read the mood music? They really don't have anything to report or do they?!! | dudhew
01/9/2021 16:21 | And why do feel the need to share this with us ? | yombo araka
01/9/2021 16:17 | Every month on Interactive Investors, I get X amount of free trades. Therefore I can buy my VRS share for 31.3p at the moment, and avoid paying the £3.99 commission. But as it stands, I'm holding off, I fancy my chances of buying that bad boy for 29p soon.Thereby saving a whopping two pence! | festario
01/9/2021 16:09 | Some people need to understand that this is not a sporting contest - there can be more than one winner! Investors in any graphene company should hope the Gipave trials are successful - they are clearly well ahead of anyone else in potentially reaching commerciality, and if it opens up genuine and meaningful sales in road surfacing then it should make the adoption of graphene easier in other markets where strength and durability are important such as rail, tyres, aerospace etc. Here is an article that confirms Gipave is REACH compliant. Could some one please tell Laginaneil. Thanks. hxxps://www.stradeea | gicater

01/9/2021 15:43 | The trails in Oxford were with gipave, don't know about Cambridge. If as you were suggesting you think directa plus graphene is non reach compliant then I would suggest you take this up with the authorities. Since it is a criminal offence to use a non reach material then this would be extremely damaging if this were the case. | flatcoat1 |
