16/1/2020 15:54 | There seems to be an across the day average price type buy order going on (the smaller trades). Also odd the Wins went off the bid didn't seen to sell much and went back on it. Edit To add to that I can see some of those small trades went through Nex, Wins are the only ones on Nex. | ![]() superg1

16/1/2020 15:06 | Mark M Good rugby win for you guys wasn't it. It is highly dangerous to make potentially public false statements when you are being watched. You think you are anonymous but you are not. Putting yourself at such risk of criminal investigations is not a good idea. Why you pop up gawd only knows, get yourself off the radar imo me old fruit. | ![]() superg1
16/1/2020 14:45 | Someone has helpfully posted on the LSE board that the percentage of IG short positions has dropped from 22% on Jan 8th to 21% today. | mr22449
16/1/2020 14:11 | Matheus As most of the global sorts majors are linked already then yes it is good. Just a small part of a much bigger picture for VRS. That's why I'm chilled re my long term investment. They have said it enough times, gov DIT secondments too. I won't be one of the ones in the future thinking, hmmm if only I'd held on. I do my own research. I don't need to read any thread, I know what I can see. | ![]() superg1
16/1/2020 13:20 | IF (I repeat IF), those Nike trainers are linked to us, it will mean serious exposure for VRS. You can just picture the headlines... "the trainers so good they had to ban them..."Your average Joe wont give a monkeys bum about regulations if it means he can beat his mate at the park run / five a side football / insert sport here | ![]() matheus7777

16/1/2020 13:00 | Hew yes it is exciting, that much I know as they have said is, quite clearly. If it equates to a million or more from virtually zero is that exciting. If it's a few million is that exciting etc. It's the first step (if it is the first one) to a long road of new commercial deals and revenue. Dg if it does turn out to be that, or an offshoot from that introduction, then good on you. | ![]() superg1
16/1/2020 12:55 | DGduncan and SG, good things in your discussion, thanks. I will add in Neill's very clear comment in his interview of 28 June'19 that "the quantities that they are forecasting are potentially very exciting". Perhaps then, given what you've both said, there are indeed several potential application areas. Annoyingly I can't see timing on the interview, but it's 3-4 minutes in from Neill starting. | ![]() hew
16/1/2020 12:36 | Dg Just going on my findings, you could be right, I could be right. Seems odd but you know what they say on catchphrase, say what you see. I introduced them to one to, or rather asked then to call the bluff of a big US composites manufacturer. No idea how the went and unlikely to be the O and G sector. That's the trouble with VRS there are with so many different global players many of which are not announced with testing ongoing. | ![]() superg1
16/1/2020 12:28 | Did anyone see the item on the late news last night caught tail end, think it was Nike trainers some think about carbon in shoe giving unfair advantage in performance, could well contain Versarien graphene, let's hope so,cheers. | ![]() wuzy

16/1/2020 12:10 | LOLS!!! LSE cultist & pro ramper RobinHood69 now ramping this insinuating the slap head in the front row is everybody's favourite share promoter! Interestingly, there's another ramper making a claim for VRS which I confess I haven't seen before. Is this true? tinopener Posts: 394 Price: 75.50 No Opinion RE: RobinHood69.Tue 14:32 VRS are the only producer of ISO approved graphene. Nearly all major conpanies have to use ISO approved suppliers and goods, for no end of reasons. ISO standards are set independently and are all listed and documented. | ![]() bbmsionlypostafter

16/1/2020 11:52 | Further to my earlier post 89661 wondering if WSP (Aecom's rumoured merger partner) had any plans or statements regarding graphene, I await a reply from someone I contacted there, but meanwhile tried searches on their main website for graphene (no results), Versarien (no results) and nano (one result). The one result on nano was something they published in 2018 regarding new materials, which included an interesting section on concrete: No mention of graphene at that time; I await their answer regarding anything graphene related since then. EDIT: For those who are interested (concrete nerds like me) here is another article from 2018 looking at geopolymer concrete involving graphene: (I am presuming the graphene they used was sourced in China) PS: In the early 1960s when my schoolmates were reading superhero comics, I was reading Concrete Quarterly. The book I chose to be given as winner of our school's 1965 Mathematics Prize was 'Building Materials - Science and Practice' by Cecil C.Handisyde. (Prompting a rather snooty look-down-her-nose expression from the headmistress when handing me the book on stage. Winners of all the other prizes had chosen famous books by respected literary figures!) | ![]() grabster
16/1/2020 11:48 | CS if you really thought that we were there were significant areas where we disagree the Chinese would have walked away and we would have had to announce it.Like all negotiations there will be points you agree on and some where you negotiateI don't presume anything. I know nooothing | ![]() mavfav
16/1/2020 11:48 | OK Super - I will come clean because there are too many crazy assumptions by others. I know it is a drilling stator because I introduced the company to Versarien in mid 2018 and they proceeded from there. I do not have any inside information due to the NDA but suffice it to say that my contact is happy with they way things have gone with VRS -except for the release of the RNS. Obviously they want to keep first mover advantage for as long as possible. | ![]() dgduncan

16/1/2020 11:10 | "if the Chinese are being ambiguous and then the trust in them is not strong, time to walk" couldn't agree more. you ask me VRS has wasted more than enough time (TWO YEARS!!!!), money and effort chasing China. It's clear they're still nowhere near agreeing terms. VRS shoud just walk away, focus their efforts elsewhere, build the business and wait for the Chinese to come crawling back in a few years begging to buy in at whatever valuation the company decides. | ![]() club sandwich |
