the mood on here seems to be different today, just an observation but there appears to be an orchestrated campaign from the uber believers to flood the board with positivity. That's almost as bad as an orchestrated shorting campaign

it looks to me as if a huge sell is being worked over the last week or so.

Just top-sliced ITM after a very strong run and recycled into yet more VRS. Crazy not to at this price, and looks like I’m not alone this morning. 75p sounds like a good tipping point to me.

Also doing nicely with a small maiden buy of AECOM at the New Year, which I just added to as a long term accumulation target.

So the gerbil wants dgd to share his knowledge, but won't share his 'research' results in return. Mmmm... Possibly because he's a bit worried that his own 'research' won't stand up to scrutiny from those with knowledge or brains and a concern for truth?

Anyway, probably for the best given the quality of the previous 'research' he quotes. He overestimated the value of the CPI bid by millions, and having learned his lesson failed to give any value at all for the Graphene Flagship bid. What was it? €100K over three years? Something like that - no wonder it finally came out as an RNSNON damp squib. And did he really 'research' these independently? Or did someone at the company point him at the tenders? Funny how there's never ever been another graphene tender that he's found - only the two that vrs bid for...

It would also be interesting to know why they won. Easy to say they're the only company to meet the criteria, but maybe they're the only company to give the stuff away below cost too? Who really knows? The accounts are not flattering in that respect.

If only that had happened sooner. There are likely many out there wishing he had stayed away from posting. Did he ever share anything other than a nod and a wink anyway anywhere?

Supergstring is not telling anyone what he knows any more ! .That should save everyone a packet, unlike all those certainties which were all due in the last year where none have come to fruition

Personally not expecting an initial huge order but the point, as said before, is that once one company shows solid interest by putting it's money where it's mouth is, others will raise eyebrows, not want to be left behind in the race and will soon follow suit.....

SuperG you have just shown your absolute ignorance about PET, and you are becoming increasingly prone to talking about things you know nothing about. If that shallow rendition is a measure of your much vaunted deep research, then you can forget it.... and investors in VRS should be very, very worried.

I'm not dragging anything down Firstly ,what is said on here has no bearing on the share price especially as there are enough bulls as well as bears Secondly ,as I've stated I have no view here (I was v bearish at 140p and hopefully saved much money for lots )Good luck

Looking back on old RNS's there is a lot that applies to O&G companies. I suppose the accumulated knowledge within the VRS team could also say that it improves this by x% that by ? and so on. The more O&G companies the better, anything to do with seals and leakage as well as the heat dissipation should save a lot of downtime and money.

Anyway we don't know who the O&G company is , what we do know is that they have moved quickly from first contact to bench testing to in field testing and sounds like they want to crack on to me.

50kg was it? just for testing is a good start but we will know soon enough not necessarily what it is being used in but what the impact on VRS may be , big or small.

Eyes are on VRS I would think and they don't do exclusivity so we will see what a fast moving environment thinks of it.

Trump saying that the US are self sufficient on oil, whether that is true or not I don't know but they will want to maintain it if that is the case.

PET

Got a mention on here.

Aren't the guys involved with the debacle Irish connected.

PET with options in Iraq, not clever at this time and the relevant Irish Sea oil drilling has been blocked for new applications, it is seriously out of favour.

So they got shoes at 1.25 cents, perhaps though their money was going down the pan, PET flew so they sold enough on 10-20 multiples to cover their commitment and have ignored/refused the 2nd tranche.

I assume they'll say "So sue us", only one winner there as they have plenty and Pet can't afford it.

Only had a brief look, but it's not good when such junk happens. That's why I steer clear of oil stocks, same old same old re juniors.

Hi
This is taken from Mikes link to the Graphene council document and perfectly illustrates why VRS in time will be extremely valuable company
“No catalogue of graphene formulations combined with common and exotic matrix materials, additives, process methods and forming techniques presently exists. Working as an extended team between vendor and customer, service provider and users along the span of the manufacturing network is vital to navigating the path toward launching commercially successful next generation of functional materials.”

Dg

I see you mention polymers and rubbers.

With your drilling experience could you list the possibilities of parts it could cover so that others can research them.

I don't think it's the stator Evergreen but I'm not sharing what I've found on the web with anyone.

Those days are long gone.

I left groups as they keep hassling me for what I find, they want info but then it gets shared everywhere. Learned my lesson re finding the Aecom arch.

Aecom remove the links form the web when I provided the web addresses. All history now.

All I can do is 2+2 and keep digging.

The Airbus GICE project (can only be VRS posts) was spot on.

That was easy, no other company could meet the criteria.

The same re the CPI tender as posted at the time, it looked like only VRS could meet the criteria. Sure enough they got all tenders they applied for.

Its OK I found it. The CFO confirmed in the VOX interview that cash burn at the time was "just over 200k" per month.

So from the reporting to date (September 2019) in the published interims until now they have burned through an additional estimated 700k.
