Cheek - please revisit the vox market interview with Chris (our CFO) where he clarified the additional cash this invoicing arrangement contributed to VRS working capital.

Evergreen8, better than ARPA, in the short term, might be for government to provide infrastructure funding specifically for TfL to install Aecom arches in the Tube: great showcase for some of the best, revolutionary new UK technology.

This is incorrect Evergreen - the invoice can only be factored once the service had been provided and proof of delivery held, so the business would have to stand the associated costs first before they receive an advance against the invoice value.

Surely someone from the private Discord group can answer a clear question? I've been told plenty of them have been posting on the other thread. Is the companys two most senior employees in that private Discord group? If they are, why are they there and what is being said to a select group of Private Investors? Can it be opened up so that all can see what's being said?

Re the timing of receipt of funds from commercial contracts, I understood that VRS use invoice discounting which allows them to immediately receive the vast majority of the invoice amount as cash in their accounts.

No doubt the large scale contracts will be structured with phased invoicing but none the less this will still be a considerable assistance in avoiding running out of cash through over-trading.

I understand that going forward there is an expectation of funding growth through the receipt of Governmental funds, both home and abroad, in addition to investments from shareholders.

So much to look forward to.

Hope you're right Clint but suspect not as the share price actually recovered from 114 up to 136 over the same quiet period last year which implies pi sentiment is not as bullish now.

BTW markboys5,

My holdings are in three ISAs plus a SIPP. The VRS in the ISAs are all well into the red. My VRS SIPP holding is very healthily into the black.

markyboys5,

Quite correct!

I've bought at all sorts of prices starting at 14p and up to £1.81. The ones I'm presently selling were at the higher end. Point I was trying to make is that despite it hurting me I still believe the company policy is correct.

You say your selling shares at 50% less than you paid.

Your post says different

It seems that whilst China’s 2020 Foreign Investment Law has come into effect the Law is written at high level and gives little guidance as to how it is to be executed. Here’s a blog from China Law for Business:

hxxps://www.chinalawblog.com/2019/12/chinas-new-foreign-investment-law-and-intellectual-property-protections.html

Note especially:
“We had actually written extensively on the new Foreign Investment Law earlier in the year and planned to write more on it when its specifics became clearer, but — as is often so typical of Chinese laws — they never did”.

In addition, Shen Changyu, Director of the National International Property Administration was quoted in the January 2020 issue of China Report as saying “their focus would be on publicizing the document and working out detailed rules to ensure implementation”;.

Given the above I can understand why Neill / Chris have been reluctant to sign up to a deal yet and I don’t see a Chinese deal in the very near future.
It was always my intention to drip sell some shares to top up my pension. I’m now selling shares at less than 50% of their purchase price so I’m not exactly the happiest bunny around but despite this I fully support the company policy. They have to get this deal right or walk away.
