Succinctly put mikeb. Yes it's disappointing that news hasn't arrived yet causing the share price to fall back at the moment.
As far as I'm concerned 2020 starts on Monday.

To be clear at current cash burn rate of c£200k per month they have 14 months of cash and can flex those costs downwards easily so in fact can last much longer but this is not the point. We know a large placing is coming when VRS prove the business model for their 2D materials technology that they can sign major commercial orders for graphene (O&G, textiles, AECOM arch, concrete, aircraft interiors) and / or sign a good China deal where up to 15% of VRS plc will be sold. They need this cash to accelerate their scale up both in people, manufacturing and balance sheet to meet their ambitions to be the global No. 1The only questions that matter now are do you believe the team can close any of these large commercial orders in the next 6 months? Can they close a good China deal and at an acceptable valuation to manage dilution / raise sufficient capital? With either of the above does this make VRS a more attractive investment proposition for the more serious institutional investors to want to be part of these placings?Focus on the business, the job to be done and execution ... if they don't do these then VRS is not an attractive investment! If they do then it is ... simples!

I go days now without even looking at the share price The end of the pantomime season is coming to a close - oh yes it is. The next 1/4 should confirm either position / opinion in VRS. Dialogue with certain *posters reminds me of my dog chasing its tail until commercialisation is confirmed :) - edited *posters replacing the original word used of parties

Rainbow26:

cash reserves "will only last another 12-14 months"

And that's a negative??

Sounds perfectly OK to me. Enough to see the company through the whole of 2020, even without any profitable deals along the way.

As scaremongering goes, that really is not scary at all. Try harder. ;-O

Why are we having this constant bashing of the sp
Relentless since Nov
I still am a LTH but this is now putting pressure on my marriage vows !!!
Obey .... I promised I wouldn’t buy any more but I did at a much higher share price than close of day today.
Why would someone sell if we are on the cusp of something fantabulous?

How many of Rickett's predictions over the last two years have borne fruit? None, nil, nada, zilch. Snake oil salesman if ever there was one. Hard to believe that he's managed to pull the wool over the eyes of so many mug punters. Sp will be in single figures by year end.

All depends on your perspective then doesn’t it.

VRS is going to be a cornerstone business in the coming materials revolution. Personally the finances to date hold very little interest for me, they’re stable and well controlled.

Your constant misrepresentation about Neill’s share dealings (which are in fact options, not core holdings) add no credence to your position, whatever that may be - assuming you’re spread betting because if Lucian is struggling to borrow any reasonable amount then I suspect you’re somewhat further back in the queue :-)

@tini that's revenue that's not making money - what's the P&L looked like since IPO? If it's positive at all then it's pitiful. It's all hot air.

Invariably when you have a private investor group discussing one company it will go wrong They start believing everything they each say and they become too overweight in a company where no one will give an opposing view They all seem to love the CEO tweets and the bullish rhetoric from superg who has the audacity to write loads of what he thought was bullish stuff at beginning of the week at 94p and now at 78p he's gone awol Be careful of anyone who bans posters for being cautious I have no view here ..yes at 140p when. Superg was ramping I thought it was obvious Vrs would halve in value and it has Now I think at 50p it would be a good purchase but doesn't mean this will fall there .Good luck to most holders ,just be v careful of the incessant ramping from superg and be careful of the daily tweets from the CEO ..I rate him but what ceo doesn't love his own company ??Hope this helps

As a genuine shareholder off VRS, I am puzzled by the time devoted to this bulletin board by the likes of rainbow23 and rainbow 26. If you feel that Neill Ricketts is ramping the share price or that VRS is a poor investment, why are you here? Surely, you should be on the bulletin board of a company that you believe in as opposed a company that you're not invested in. Obliviously, you're here to scare genuine shareholders and force the share price down.
