11/12/2019 23:38 | I have been calling out the difference between fundamental and hope value on this share for the last two years, to much opprobrium from people on here. I still believe in the long-term value of VRS and, while I feel it is frustrating for holders who went in at higher levels and are underwater or, worse, sold in panic or were taken out by stop losses, the AECOM and textile announcementS are real and will deliver in 2020. These two prospects alone will in themselves Be capable of taking the share price back to the highs. NR’s greatest asset is his vision and we should all applaud how he has implemented it so far. These qualities are highly unusual and to still have, probably, circa £4 million in the bank is a significant achievement given the growth and investment since 2011. CS’s ludicrous, ill founded and outrageously couched criticism, says more about CS than it does about NR. Having said this, in recognition of the need to always protect accrued invested wealth, I have reduced my holdings here by some 40% and parked it elsewhere while the inevitable volatility plays out over the results period. Such volatility could be either positive or negative, depending on tomorrow’s announcement. | ![]() ridicule
11/12/2019 23:37 | For nearly two years now, these Bogey Men called Shorters have been blamed and vilified for holding the share price down.Get real people, there are very few, if any short positions open or available to open on VRS. It's simply a non issue. | ![]() festario
11/12/2019 23:32 | "also pleased we are no longer seeing the OTT NR so tomorrow it'll be the written report I'm most interested in and the more forward looking statements" Couldn't agree more! In my mind he's gone from Hero to almost Zero. Apparently I'm not alone. There were 200 investors at the 2018 AGM. BB posters were suggesting he should receive a knighthood. The company made arrangements for 300 at the 2019 AGM but only 100 attended. I wonder why? There have been presentations to HNW individuals in Ibiza and funds in the UK plus a joint broker agreement. Since then the share price has nose dived. Let's see what happens tomorrow, | ![]() sandbag
11/12/2019 23:22 | The shorters are in the dark as much as we are. Tomorrow could bring a massive boost to sentiment, with proper figures attached from real transactions. I do not have a clue. However, nor do they. | vice versa
11/12/2019 23:03 | What do VRS shareholders have to look forward to in eight hours time? Dire results and loads of jam for breakfast. The forward looking statement that the sheep are pinning their hopes on will be another dose of jam tomorrow. Ricketts has turned out to be a prize plonker with zero credibility. Anyone seen Bigt, orders, revenues? Could go as low as 60p tomorrow. Get that market open. | ![]() rainbow23

11/12/2019 21:48 | Obviously giving the benefit of the doubt seeing your 85810 was wholly wasted. I'll leave you to carry on getting off on being able to use naughty words, most of us grew out of it many a year ago. | ![]() moljen
11/12/2019 21:45 | Didn't is past tense, ergo a postal vote. See, you need to take more note of what is said and then put it into context :-) Okay as it's Xmas I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and you were proving you're learning how to read things and put them into context and come to a rational conclusion which in this case is I postal voted. Well done squire | ![]() moljen
11/12/2019 21:43 | Bit late for Ricketts to tone down his rhetoric now - the damage to his credibility and to our patience is done. I have nothing but utter contempt and loathing for the c*nt. | ![]() club sandwich
11/12/2019 21:41 | "for the first time in decades I didn't vote for the Tories purely because of him"Voting isn't til tmrw, so unless you postal voted you haven't had a chance to not vote for him yet. | ![]() club sandwich
11/12/2019 21:25 | Ricketts has gone...to St James Hotel Barbados, conference call from the poolside, probably talking a load of ole nanene. 😆 AOR, STX, TLW, MSYS all a better bet that this one, imho Will need something spectacular in the results to get above 100p! | ![]() ny boy
11/12/2019 21:17 | So you hold no Vrs shares? | ![]() 1teepee
11/12/2019 21:12 | Be honest - whoever in their darkest nightmares thought we'd ever see 83p again? Beyond disgraceful. Ricketts has to go. | ![]() club sandwich

11/12/2019 21:00 | Ah, those halcyon days of 115p. We won't see their like again until Ricketts is removed and someone who cares as much about commerce as engineering is installed. | ![]() club sandwich
11/12/2019 20:56 | Thats not true in any way Ratpat.I have had no VRS to sell since it was 115p.Today I bought about £8k worth of IOF at around 9.30amWhy are you interested by the way?I thought you were halfway round the world on the catamaran that you bought by selling YOUR shares way higher than I did? That's not a dig by the way.... I wish I'd had your foresight. | ![]() festario

11/12/2019 20:47 | This company isn't worth anywhere near its potential. Plenty of other companies valued at way beyond their revenue/profits based on promise alone. A good Tory majority tomorrow should see a fantastic boost to the market as the uncertainty fades. A good set of results should see the share price here heading back towards £1.50. In a normal market vrs would be valued at £300m+ imo | ![]() zagrosfold |
