12/12/2019 07:00 | "I still have a big VRS holding that I think will recover over the next 6 months" funny, we've been thinking that for the past *12* months. at least. | ![]() club sandwich
12/12/2019 06:56 | Agreed VV, cantilever only works if you do it the right way. Also requires the stable to have at least 2 quality shares else the only strong one will end up continually feeding the other dogs until there is nothing left. | ![]() rogerthegrouch
12/12/2019 06:54 | Time to get the tin hats out. | ![]() rainbow23
12/12/2019 01:48 | 'even Dean Haigh wouldn’t have made that schoolboy error' What is that supposed to IMPLY ? What is one to INFER from this ? | festario x
12/12/2019 00:47 | Went to check the iof board and it was peeshelvin doing his political view routine | ![]() 1teepee
12/12/2019 00:40 | Luv u Fest, but "emphasise" is also a schoolboy error. | vice versa
12/12/2019 00:35 | hedgehogster I do not despise Fest in any way, he makes a valuable contribution. Why do so many people on here have to be so unpleasant. We should be prepared to exchange views and disagree if necessary. Isn't that the value of threads like this? I do not have any ulterior motives at all, yet I have been accused by some on here of having them without a scintilla of proof. | ![]() ridicule
12/12/2019 00:32 | You are a man of clarity. I salute you. | vice versa
12/12/2019 00:31 | That remains to be se.... | vice versa
12/12/2019 00:29 | I can do so V V because I still have a big VRS holding that I think will recover over the next 6 months for the reasons surrounding NR and the prospects that I describe above. I can, therefore, speculate that it is better to see if the VRS share price falls further before making a move to add. Equally, the investments I would canti-lever from are also on the cusp of news that may benefit from leaving them where they are. I have been doing this for many years and my timescales are not all short term as some on here have decided to assume they are. Timing in canti-lever strategies is very important. | ![]() ridicule
12/12/2019 00:28 | I think you meant universally, not unilaterally... even Dean Haigh wouldn't have made that schoolboy error. | ![]() festario
12/12/2019 00:27 | And you are sensitive?;) | ![]() 1teepee
12/12/2019 00:27 | Judging by the private messages I receive, (ignoring the obvious Dean Haigh ones), the votes on my posts and the feedback from the respected Twitter group, I'd say you are in error Sir. | ![]() festario
12/12/2019 00:26 | I luv u Fest. | vice versa
12/12/2019 00:25 | Actually it's you who are wrong and full of it | ![]() 1teepee
12/12/2019 00:24 | Because he believe he is the g string king of all sheep in all countries | ![]() 1teepee
12/12/2019 00:23 | You do realise you are unilaterally despised on this board and nobody has any interest in your opinions? | ![]() hedgehogster
12/12/2019 00:21 | Rid, thanks for your response. You have a much cooler disposition than me. I would definitely have not looked such a gift horse in the mouth. | vice versa
12/12/2019 00:17 | I emphasise... I have NO ISSUE with SuperG moving between VRS and IOF, but at least be transparent about it, and do not vilify others for doing exactly the same. | ![]() festario
12/12/2019 00:15 | I know people say 'when circumstances change, one must change one's opinion' also. 40% is not minimal. I am not arguing against cantilevering per se...just that you are not doing it right. | vice versa
12/12/2019 00:09 | Folk have been very inquisitive about my shareholding here today, and now questions arise regarding Ridicule's. Both of us have answered in an clear and open manner. The person who you really should be concerned about is SuperG.You see he stated that he abandoned IOF earlier this year, as he had lost faith. He was 100% in VRS.But... now, he's rebuilt a large IOF holding, since July, and has patently been selling his VRS in the vicinity of 120p, whilst continuing to ramp it to us lot. Why? Did he lose faith in VRS? Why was he not transparent about this? I have no problem with anyone moving their investments, it is YOUR money.... but anyone else moving between shares in this way is labelled a flipper, a scumbag, deceitful, a liar a crook etc.... why is it different for SuperG? | ![]() festario
12/12/2019 00:07 | Teepee is so obtuse that it is very hard to see who the object of his posts is. | ![]() pshevlin
12/12/2019 00:02 | Vice Versa. I do not think it is severely compromised @ 83p, given the current lack of a big order. When I think it has reached the bottom, I will canti-lever. Let’s see what tomorrow brings? | ![]() ridicule
12/12/2019 00:00 | It wouldn't have been the best idea though would it? | ![]() festario
11/12/2019 23:54 | Ridicule, although I respect the principle of maximising benefit you espouse, previously you had always led us to believe that the very cornerstone of this principle is to transfer funds from the share that is doing well to the share that is doing less well. What you have done, in actuality is the very opposite of your thesis. You should have put more of your 'cantilevered' wonga INTO Vrs, given the present severely compromised S.P. | vice versa |
