Its highly distruptive to what we are all here to do which is discuss all things Versarien. It may seem harsh but it really is the only way. Scruts - really thought you'd get that but then again you seem to think one of the idiots is somehow intelligent. 05/12/2019 16:17 | sg post. superg1 - 10 Nov 2019 - 11:00:07 - 82975 of 85245 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS Lag To answer your question, you may have missed it in the usual trash chaos GICE Core 3 Spearhead Project GICE will focus on the design of thermoelectric ice protection systems (IPS), which will play a major role in next generation aeronautical products. hxxps://graphene-fla It looks more or less that VRS are the only ones that tick enough boxes to meet the criteria. VRS were with bus and Victrex at a 2 day 'event' with just a few partners at Exeter Uni CALM a couple of years ago. So I believe VRS are part of it. Criteria below 10kg/month GRM production: Sustainable production of GRMs on the scale of 10 kg/month (following ISO/TS 80004-13:2017(en) material specifications for graphene flakes). The production process must be in operation commercially. Spray deposition or brush painting of GRM: GRM-based ink formulations suitable for spray deposition (preferred) or brush painting (acceptable) of coatings under standard paint shop conditions, with good adhesion on different substrates (polymers, carbon and glass fibre composites, metals); >10kW/m² heating power density for an applied voltage of for applied voltage up to 230V AC, 3-phase, or 540V DC (+/-270V) for GRM-based coating Electrical contacts: Expertise in fabricating electrical connectors (using tin based solder or similar technology) to GRM-based coatings (expertise demonstrated via publications or patents or products) Experience in heating applications and aerospace components: Demonstrated capability of integrating GRM-based heating coatings in representative aerospace components. | jointer13

05/12/2019 16:15 | johnveals post The Graphene Flagship is looking for a new partner that brings in specific industrial and technology transfer competences or capabilities that complement the present consortium of the Spearhead Project GICE. We are seeking a partner with the following expertise and capabilities: 1) Sustainable production of GRMs on the scale of 10kg/month (following ISO/TS 80004-13:2017(en) material specifications for graphene flakes). The proposed production process must be in operation commercially or be linked with an existing commercial entity using the technology proposed here to ensure large scale material delivery (at the level of 10 tonnes/year) sufficient to cover the graphene needs of a large aerospace company 2) GRM-based ink formulations suitable for spray deposition (preferred) or brush painting (acceptable) of coatings under standard paint shop conditions, with good adhesion on different substrates (polymers, carbon and glass fibre composites, metals) 3) Graphene-based, thermoelectric heatable coatings. The targeted range of heat power densities is 10-50 kW/m2 4) Expertise in soldering electrical connectors (using tin-based solder) to nanocarbon elements (expertise must be demonstrated via existing publications or patents) 5) Demonstrated capability of integrating GRM-based heating elements in representative aerospace components The newly selected partner will be incorporated in the Core 3 Project under the Horizon 2020 phase of the Graphene Flagship, which will run during 1 April 2020 - 31 March 2023. The new partners will be asked to sign the relevant agreement with the European Commission. Learn more. 05/12/2019 16:14 | DYOR, An exhortation often used on these boards and within this thread.i do try to read the links, look at the financials and follow announcements. That doesn't help you nice folks too much because my available votes are a function of my funds, so not much to add!But others with more funds do surely do research.Fund's funds and industry funds. So why aren't the holdings of VRS such much higher? It's a mystery to me after deep reflection, deeper than on most things. Self-congratulatory as I am the one-liner it's as if we're in 1535 with the sole right to wood. I actually said we have the IPR on wood.Or own the world's quarries, or Trumpets shall sound, replace "or" with and.An investor now could be Taking over the mantle from Carnegie in Pittsburgh . Anyone doing that could provide libraries far beyond Scotland!Am I wrong or is the biggest gap in value perception since Croesus? Or Gates anyway. And by what magnitude? 10 to the power of.9 or 10 to the power of 60? Or a googol. I went to a lecture at the Geological Society yesterday about deep carbon , catalyst for thought. I got most of it but when the chemistry got to far beyond I thought of it all sliced to one molecule deep! And thought I could copy Lavoisier and burn diamonds down to less valuable allotropes. | ![]() alchemy

05/12/2019 15:17 | zagrosfold Why do I think that club-sandwich is intelligent? Perhaps I used the wrong word. He certainly has a high IQ, demonstrated by a very precise vocabulary however foul. He is probably damaged goods, medically deranged, and might be influenced for the good by psychiatry - though I don't give that art much credence. It usually increses a patient's delight in the self attention. C-S must spend all day looking for opportunity to repeat his libels and execrations, in which he is a master. Superg, whom I normally, greatly respect, has this time harmed himself with the discourteous application of his " Rule" to moderate, what was a balanced argument that C-S should do his homework and check just how many newly listed, innovative companies, exploiting new science, software, or disruptive business methods, take 10-20 years to commercialise. I challenged C-Sh to use any sanity still at his disposal to name any business on a faster track than Versarien and incidentally referred to Neill as "a giant of a man" It's a pity that superg is not more discriminating, in what he bans, and less sanctimonious - a defect found often in our police force. | ![]() scrutable

05/12/2019 13:45 | nice read that 66sequoia. "Airbus is committed to making graphene-related materials fly as soon as possible, and a step-by-step approach is being set up," she says. By selecting 'quick-win' applications with immediate benefits to the aerospace industry, she anticipates that graphene-integrated FRCs will reach the market soon. "One example is using these materials for anti- and de-icing purposes in aeroplanes, for which Airbus will be leading activities targeting commercial exploitation of this technology. We are hoping for it to reach a high maturity level, with a target readiness level between five and six, in the next few years." | jointer13
