Don’t worry Neill Ricketts I know who you are.

Please deliver a bunch of five into Tom winnifreths cherries"

I'm sure Neill would never even contemplate that teepee 🤣

Ahhh, I see, you are talking about 'the' 5, that would do nicely.

Just explaining as we don't want him running off to the Nomad having drawn the wrong conclusion about PI's encouraging violence, Lucian will have known what you meant though, but TW nowhere near as bright.

Thought for the day, it doesn’t really matter who said it, ‘the one thing we can say with certainty about the advent of new technologies is that people overestimate their impact in the short term and underestimate their impact over the long term’.

I think we are close to that tipping point.

Wouldn’t it be terrible if it was any of our regular house trolls on our message board .
I’m sure that’s not the case but quite often they seem to be a little uneconomical with the truth .

Great info and research .

Wouldn’t it be amazing if a company like Versarien were working with Aecom :-)as their preferred partner for using graphene On new global projects like infrastructure and building .

And also at the same time if China had a major interest using graphene in its future growth .

I guess were just not that lucky .:-)

Anyway who are Aecom ?? :-) lol

'Aecom forms JV to target Chinese transit projects.'

 30 May 18

'Aecom is to target transit projects in China through a new joint venture set up with a Shanghai-based company.'

"It has signed an agreement with Sunvision Holdings, a subsidiary of Fosun, one of China's largest investment conglomerates. The joint venture will be focused on developing transit oriented development (TOD) project opportunities to complement the country’s growing long distance rail network.

In September 2017, Fosun signed China's first public-private-partnership agreement for a high-speed rail project, the 269km Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou line in China's densely populated eastern region. The line is estimated to cost RMB44.9bn and is scheduled for completion in 2021. By 2030, China's high-speed rail infrastructure is expected to double to 45,000km. The massive investment is being complemented by more than 40 additional subway and metro rail systems planned and/or currently under construction.

"China's high-speed, long distance and metro rail investment significantly raises the demand for rail-oriented TOD projects,” said Sean Chiao, president, Asia Pacific at Aecom. “Our joint venture with Sunvision brings together complementary strengths to deliver infrastructure that will both enhance convenience and work well with the natural and built environment. We also look forward to deploying Aecom's global network and integrated design, build, finance and operate offerings for further international project cooperation with Fosun."

Fosun global partner and chairman and CEO of Fosun Infrastructure Group Xiaodong Wen added: "The strategic alliance between our subsidiary, Sunvision, and Aecom brings together two strong brands and positive synergy for the future development of this joint venture company. Aligning our diversified and highly complementary resources will facilitate vertical cooperation between upstream and downstream industries. As part of Fosun's investment strategy of 'Combining China's growth momentum with global resources,' we are confident this joint venture will deliver efficient, world-class infrastructure to our home customers.”

I apologise for posting one year old news but viewed through the Lens of recent AECOM Promotional activity In Beijing, the recent VRS signed agreements with China and the significant enhancements that AECOM recognises that VRS Graphene delivers for the construction of roads rail and signalling one could be forgiven for thinking that a plan is coming together.

We are now a year down the line from the attached article and the matters referred to are no longer aspirational speculation.

The first tranche of our Chinese physical infrastructure is currently being finalised, VRS now holds an imbedded monopoly position in the Chinese economy and will secure significant revenue across many sectors let alone the construction sector which AECOM value over the next 5 years in excess of $6.5 TRILLION.

With two governments pushing this forward it is inevitable that tremendous news will be forthcoming in the very near future.

...................

China Daily | Updated: 2018-11-13 10:37"..".................

US architecture and infrastructure consulting company AECOM said it expects a bright future in the Chinese market as it foresees a profound need for high-quality services amid the country's further urbanization and development.

"China has entered a phase of increasing expansion in consumption and imports," said Sean Chiao, president of AECOM Asia-Pacific.8

He predicted $10 trillion of goods and services will be imported to China in the next five years.

"The China International Import Expo signals that China's opening-up strategy has switched its focus from high speed to high quality, and we believe the demand for premium services in infrastructure will soon emerge in the Chinese market," Chiao said.

"AECOM feels deeply honored to participate in the CIIE. We are very much inspired by President Xi Jinping's speech, in which he said, 'The Chinese economy is a sea, not a pond. Storms can overturn a pond, but never a sea'."

Chiao added that "AECOM aims to make the world a better place to live. In many strategic development plans, such as the Belt and Road Initiative, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Yangtze River Delta, we have made our contribution. This showcases that AECOM's determination has never changed in the more than four decades we have participated in China's development."

According to a report from the Ministry of Commerce, released during the recent CIIE, China ranked No 2 for the volume of imported services in 2017. The report said total service imports could reach $2.5 trillion over the next five years.

This is an interesting read on printed inks.
