Markster. Sure Neill has more to lose than any of us but if he lost 90% he would still have more cash than I can dream of so that argument doesn't wash. If I lose 90% i'm broke.

Sensible comments Mark...that old phrase 'It's about keeping your head when all around....'

The market would have had to be informed if any of the deals were off...says it all.

The selling today is, I think, some chasing other shares and some worrying about the outcome of the Brexit talks...both lots will probably back next week.

It's tough waiting but probably tougher for Neill as I believe he takes his 'responsibilities' to us very seriously, no matter what some here say.

Have a glass of something cold all...it's nearly winetime and the weekends here, enjoy life while you wait.

I understand your frustrations Clint, I think many of us are in the same boat waiting for large commercial orders to come in, but what I keep thinking is, Neill has 21 million shares tied up in this business, he has more to lose than any of us, so I know he will be working as hard as he can to secure a prosperous future for us all. The current political climate will not be doing us any justice, investor sentiment is at one of its lowest points in recent years, but it will pick up. It has to, Versarien has achieved too much not to in the last 18 months.

I do wish people would stop posting about 'faith'. It has no place in investment and is useful only to religious leaders. Trust, maybe but faith is usually blind.

On a positive note though, many stocks have taken a beating today, we need to keep the faith in the BOD, the China deal will come soon enough and hopefully we will emerge from this brutal trough. Have a good weekend all :)

ic0, The DIT secondees are civil servants with no affiliation to any governing party, so the state of the current government, is not a reflection on DIT employees, their expertise, ability to negotiate with foreign entities, or the quality of advice they provide to UK businesses. They probably despair at the state of the House of Commons and it's incumbents as much as we do.

Fest, What you fail to realise is that I don't even know which thread I'm posting on. When I'm logged off and view the VRS chat threads, I can see everything combined, so I just log on to respond to anything that takes my fancy.

The company payroll has increased in the first half of the current year (half-year ended 7 weeks ago). The FD is reputedly parsimonious. so presumably they are confident revenue will be forthcoming to pay the extra salaries and expenses.

Results for the half year came out on 6 December last year, but e/o November in previous years.
