So when do you / others think there'll be more buyers than sellers sufficient to lift the price above 130 ? - basically forever.MMS get asynchronous demands from brokers who get orders from people and institutions so I think the question is fair .

Well done anley. I sent Ms.Burgess a much less accomplished email the day after publication, just pointing out what a pitiful, shoddy article it was...

My letter to the FT..........with the authors email address.

Its as polite as I can make it.................

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Ms Burgess – email: kate.burgess@ft.com

A good friend who used to work for the FT/Investors Chronicle sent me your recent article entitled “Graphene is less wonderful as an investment material”.

My first reaction is that you are not in the Boris camp when it comes to being optimistic about the future of this country and a material that will change the world as well as creating wealth and jobs, not only in the UK but world wide.

Please let me go through a few of your comments:

1 Versarien is the only world wide business that is a verified graphene supplier able to produce the real stuff.
Can you tell me if you know of anyone else?

2 Versarien can produce up to 30 tons per annum.
How come you were not able to check this before publishing your article?

3 Has it take decades to turn graphene to good commercial use – your words.
How do you verify that as it is not true?

4 Can you publish the so called scientists findings on the fact that graphene is so superior that it does not work easily with other materials?
Have you been reading someone else work without checking it?

5 You go on to mention a number of companies who you think manufacture graphene. If what you are getting at in your article suggests that success is the price of a share increasing in value then you definitely not been looking at your dealing screens.

6 May I suggest you go onto the Versarien website and look at all the last 2 years of news flow especially the last 6 months and then compare that with the news flow from the companies you have mentioned in your article.

Why should I and shareholders tolerate such negative comment from a journalist and the FT the paper you work for especially as your sister paper the Investors Chronicle also has a negative biases. This is not good enough and I am suggesting that my view is to call your article “false news” as you have clearly not checked the facts and perhaps not even seen what graphene has and is doing?

I shall publish this letter on the BB of Versarien next week but failure to react will only make my conclusion clear – you have not even checked to see where the UK government is involved, the Chinese government or for that matter some of the largest companies in the world are involved…̷0;…a disgrace and “small talk” that was the heading for your false story.

I looked at that one a while back and love what they were trying to do. I discussed it with some. My view was and still is that with such tech it would be in huge demand if FULLY proven and viable.

So there is no need to invest early as it could be worth billions if it transformed the energy storage market.

There was just no way of knowing if they would get there in a market known to be so highly competitive. Huge names have been striving for such a breakthrough for decades.

VRS is very much the same but also massively different.

HNW guys no doubt has the view that if VRS cracks it and signs up with big companies and countries and lucrative deals then there will be plenty of time to invest as it will be worth billions.

Big investment in illiquid companies is a tough call and interests very few.

The difference for VRS is the sector they are in is dominated by minnows. Graphene as yet does not have a massive market like fuel cells.

Imo graphene will have a huge market and in time the graphene investor frenzy will start. It seems for now the company that is going to start the frenzy is VRS.

If the BIGT deal goes ahead, suddenly you have China champing at the bit to get the graphene revolution going, that triggers reactions from other countries like Japan South Korea and the US. Not from a cold start they are already engaged with VRS.

Its near impossible to keep up with the Versarien story let alone appreciate the gravity of all the news. The pace of change and newsflow is ridiculous and perhaps get lost amongst itself! Even if we are just look at the last month alone there has been so much progression:

1)VRS appointed an expert in "business scale up" to its board in Susan Bowen
2)VRS announced a further graphene development order which although not named due to NDA but a bit of digging reveals the likely candidate. The client supplies electronic systems to all the big car makers and is a huge organisation, perfectly place on the supply chain for Versarien. The order size meant that this didn’t elevate the share price however, it adds yet another layer to the foundations and once that goes from development orders to production orders we are likely to have lift off.
3)VRS received further accreditation this month with receipt of Reach Registration which permits the sale of over a tonne per annum of graphene within the EU. Another tick in the box and hint at scale up
4)The final results came out on 17th July and were completely as expected although perhaps some growth of the existing businesses would have been desirable although the tricky economic climate provides some rationale. What is perhaps shows is that the business is focussed on graphene and 2d materials which is reaching tipping point. Despite some graphene sales these are still not material in size and wouldn’t feature in the results as post period anyway. We are now at inflection point and should see significant growth this coming year as we enter a period of transformation, driving the graphene revolution.
5)Investor drinks to discuss results spawned some great discussion and some good insights, particularly around the China deal
6)Then there was the investor event for 12 very lucky investors to see a full-scale prototype of a 3D printed polymer structure using Versarien graphene enhanced polymer technology. The prototype was in final stages of test that could be rolled out on an industrial scale for the transport industry. This is a tipping point as it proves the business model. It is the first and only industrial level application of graphene and strongly hints that the graphene revolution has begun and its commercialisation has started.
7)And If that was in any doubt a very recent speech by Boris Johnson, mentioned the wonder material that is graphene, its importance to the UK economy and stated we are on the cusp of the graphene revolution where the UK is leading from the front. I’ve long thought, Graphene and more specifically Versarien will be the UK’s saviour in the post Brexit world and its refreshing to see the PM agree with me.
8)Just when you thought that was enough, we had an update on Versarien’s collaboration with the global apparel manufacturer. The RNS announces an LOI, with said manufacturer, to launch high performance clothing range using Versarien’s Graphene inks technology. This will enhance thermal and moisture properties of garments. If you think how Gortex is incorporated into brands it will be similar to that I suspect.

Quite simple Alchemy

If there are more buyers than sellers it goes up, the opposite it goes down.

Some as we know are not obvious, bug buyers and sellers are generally hidden. On selling as we saw with singer (Herald). It depends how long an MM parks on the offer without picking up stock. I haven't been watching closely. The same goes re buying, an MM buying but not staying on the offer for the volume they picked up.

It's false information. You can't deduce what the graphene revenue was.Likewise, gong if forward you won't be able to because you need to understand the quality of graphene sold and the loading of it in any carrier material such as polygrene. It will be different depending on the customer and their application. It certainly won't have been deleted for being correct, which is what you are presumably inferring?

There is a factor that very few think about or perhaps don't mention in posts on shares.

It's a lot more relevant to VRS due to the number they are talking to.

So VRS have done textile tests with great improvement across the board. Wearer trials with multiple global names.

So in short many people within those global names know about the graphene and the results it has given for their products. They know how much revenue things are likely to degenerate and the cost matrix with VRS.

Effectively as news items break they are no longer inside. 100's of staff, high up, in huge names.
