Neill on Twitter in response to the below question@neillricketts Hi Neill Is graphink generic or do you need to customise for each productFor polygrene I presume we have to customise, but how will we get the benefits of scaleNeills response - We have a family of materials under each brand name except nanene. Btw the product this week is a new product hTTps://twitter.com/neillricketts/status/1155437102387146752

Interesting last paragraph

The HUAWEI Mate 20 X (5G) also features an AI-powered battery optimizer that intelligently manages and regulates power consumptions in the background. The phone is also kept cool during extended use or high performance, thanks to an innovative cooling solution that utilizes graphene film and a vapor chamber.

They have a 'model' in that respect lovat and as much about the roll out of the model as it is about the roll out of graphene as Scrutable touched upon.

Rereading the list of collaborations and the latest RNSs, it looks like Chris has his work cut out financing the bandwidth VRS need to see all these projects through to completion. Charging retainers or milestone payments is certainly an attractive option.

Versarien and it’s graphene content qualities beginning to get the recognition it deserves in the city and further afield! Me thinks we can shortly break through the £1.30 support and kiss it goodbye, fingers crossed!!

Whenever there's successful people or companies like vrs there will always be negative detractors or people who don't want to see the wood for the treesThey are mainly jealous or very ungrateful and have an issue with societySuch a shame

Graphene may be the key to next-gen membranes that filter c02

A way to cut CO2 levels, produced from burning fossil fuels and released into the atmosphere, is through carbon capture, a chemical technique that removes CO2 from emissions ("postcombustion"). The captured CO2 can then be recycled or stored in gas or liquid form, a process known as sequestration.

CO2-selective polymeric chains anchored on graphene effectively pull CO2 from a flue gas mixture. Credit: KV Agrawal (EPFL)
Carbon capture can be done using high-performance membranes, which are polymer filters that can specifically pick out CO2 from a mix of gases, such as those emitted from a factory's flue. These membranes are environmentally friendly, they don't generate waste, they can intensify chemical processes, and can be used in a decentralized fashion. They are now considered as one of the most energy-efficient routes for reducing CO2 emissions. Now, scientists (led by Kumar Varoon Agrawal) at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) have developed a new class of high-performance membranes that exceed post-combustion capture targets by a significant margin. The membranes are based on single-layer graphene with a selective layer thinner than 20 nm, and have highly tunable chemistry, meaning that they can pave the way for next-generation high-performance membranes for several critical separations.
Current membranes are required to exceed 1000 gas permeation units (GPUs), and have a CO2/N2 separation factor above 20 - a measure of their carbon-capturing specificity. The membranes that the EPFL scientists developed show six-fold higher CO2 permeance at 6,180 GPUs with a separation factor of 22.5. The GPUs shot up to 11,790 when the scientists combined optimized graphene porosity, pore size, and functional groups (the chemical groups that actually react with CO2), while other membranes they made showed separation factors up to 57.2.
"Functionalizing CO2-selective polymeric chains on nanoporous graphene allows us to fabricate nanometer-thick yet CO2-selective membranes," says Agrawal. "This two-dimensional nature of the membrane drastically increases the CO2 permeance, making membranes even more attractive for carbon capture. The concept is highly generic, and a number of high-performance gas separations are possible in this way."

On that point of can do.

VRS don't employ people based on what it says on a CV and a gift of the gab interview. They judge then on their actions and ability which includes no BS drive and determination.

So you can be sure VRS will build great team, they will not employ or carry and dead wood.

BS will not get you a position at VRS. We await to see who are in the queue to join them.

Meanwhile back in bitter spiteful crooked world. You have some scumbags desperately trying to destroy the credibility of an incredible opportunity for the UK. A raft of false allegations and attempts to undermine things with spurious allegations and personal attacks.

The type of UK scum that need to be weeded out.

Lovat

Credit to David Cameron and George Osborne re the graphene centres. They were the ones that pushed it through.

Over the years well known papers have mocked Osborne about it.

That's trouble with the UK in the last few, perhaps many years and it's something Boris for now has turned on its head.

An era of we can't do that and we can't do this. Post graphene centre a number saying waste of money it will go nowhere, journalists as said mocking Osborne over it.

Now we have Boris, with "YES WE CAN" a positive very vocal attitude. Will he get all the things done, unlikely, will he get some of them done, yes.

If he made the approach of, we can't, we can't, then he wouldn't achieve anything.

The UOM approached VRS as they knew the team have a yes we can attitude. All entrepreneurs got to where they are with a yes we can attitude.

If you dominate someone's life telling them they are stupid they will drastically underperform. If you tell them everyday they are brilliant and can achieve anything they will perform well. Talk to Steph Millward for 5 minutes and you feel 10 feet tall, an incredible lady with an amazing outlook open life. A life which has dealt her some bad cards.

Personally I hate negativity (no S Sherlock), I managed staff with a can do attitude turning mistakes into learning curves for positive not negative impacts.

So yes I like Boris, it's breath of fresh air compared to all the moaning and groaning that has been out there for years. He mentioned the doomsters and the gloomsters.

There is going to be a graphene industrial revolution with or without VRS. However VRS they are going to bust a gut to get there ASAP.

Engineers thrive on barriers they always think there is a fix, if they can't fix it they just think they haven't found the right answer yet.

So we have the right team in charge of huge potential not just for graphene but for the UK, which is what Matt Walker went on about on his arrival.

This isn't not about helping VRS get on the graphene map, this is about trying to create a large number of jobs and income for the UK, not VRS. VRS just happen to be the team with the ingredients to get there and hence the UK gov DIT are working hard though VRS to make the UK the world lead in graphene.

Boris wants it to fit seems and boy will he shout about it when it starts to get some serious traction.

UK Idea, UK gov backed for the centres, UK gov supported by the DIT, UK innovate grants, a UK start up with a UK boss with drive and determination to make it succeed, with UK investors helping make it happen.

As it stands Boris may be able to crow about the trade link with China that it has created. We'll have to wait and see.

Chillpill my understanding is that they have enough authority to issue shares (19m) to complete the BIGT deal before the AGM and then there put a vote to shareholders to support a new years worth of shares that management can issue. By all accounts things are currently on critical path to complete before AGM.
