28/7/2019 08:42 | Regarding that Money week article and countless IC articles giving sell calls. Much of the literature that I read on the stock market and how to ultimately become a big winner is to be contrarian. To find such stocks is very hard, however I feel Versarien is completely within this category. The only thing holding back Versarien was time, we have been patiently awaiting the beginning of the Graphene revolution which we are now on the cusp of, as stated by our very own Prime Minister. This for me, is enormous news and on top of the absolutely fantastic newsflow from the past few months from Versarien makes me extremely confident in my investment and proud to be contrarian. With China investment imminent, I believe the next few months are going to be transformational to Versarien and the share price too. | ![]() rogerthegrouch
28/7/2019 08:27 | For BIGT to be voted through at the AGM the deal has to be announced at least 21 days beforehand and that’s probably why NR is hinting August could be a good month. | ![]() chillpill
28/7/2019 08:26 | Chris will be doubly pleased - surely Boris has just saved us a bob or two on marketing and 'We will begin right away on working to change the tax rules to provide extra incentives to invest in capital and research':) | ![]() ad631
28/7/2019 08:07 | Of all the topics Boris’s scriptwriters could have chosen, they picked on graphene! UK doesn’t have a great record of backing innovative industry (British Business Bank and Business Growth Fund hopefully will change all that) but I wonder who told them that nanotechnology is just too important to miss out on, hence the door opening secondments? Joined up government at work? We can but hope! AIMHO etc. | lovat scout
28/7/2019 08:01 | i'd say we (graphene) is just about to start to be taking seriously by some. there is a hell of a lot of people out there who have never heard of it...maybe that's about to change. well done boris. | ![]() jointer13

28/7/2019 07:49 | Pm speech We stand on the cusp of the graphene age Jointer13 Fantastic .. Its great to see the PM talking about graphene he is obviously excited about it’s future , as we all are . It should make a good few people sit and take notice about the future ahead of us . A Very good informative post for the board. Ff | ![]() forestfred
28/7/2019 07:36 | Sandbag This mocking of others over apostrophes had gone on for along time on here, I find it offensive and hence have started to moderate such posts. Perhaps they are school teachers who tend to lose the ability to break out of the parent child way in communicating with people. I forget how many times I have tried to intervene in "You need to grow up" lectures. Well if adults want kids to grow up (change their attitude), then talk to them like adults and they will begin to act like one. Talk to them like kids and guess what..... | ![]() superg1
28/7/2019 07:26 | opening part of PM speech at Manchester Science and Industry Museum. good morning everyone and thank you for joining me here in Manchester – in the heart of the world’s first industrial city. A city whose confidence and whose extraordinary future we can see in the changing fabric of the urban landscape, the mighty towers of Deansgate Square, last week’s extraordinary International Festival in Manchester. We can see it in the Christie, the hospital where the future of cancer treatment will be written at the vast new Paterson building, with new therapies saving the lives of people around the world for generations to come. This is not and has never been a city for negativity or navel-gazing. Indeed when the University of Manchester’s Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov said they were planning to extract a single-atom-thick crystallites from bulk graphite - I hope I’ve got that right - to give us the super-light super-strong wonder that is Graphene… I imagine that there were people who had no idea what difference it could make to their lives - and frankly people in this audience who have no idea, Yet today, we stand on the cusp of the Graphene age, with applications in everything from de-icing of aircraft wings to life-saving medicine. | ![]() jointer13
27/7/2019 23:30 | Hattie... thanks for reminding me about your bro’s story, what better activity than to wander the world on a boat, a fine accomplishment! Good on RatPat and all who sail with him, perhaps one fine day we may cross anchors? | hoverflyman

27/7/2019 22:05 | Hoverflyman lest is my brother ratpat999 in Cartagena for last few months back with me in uk til august then off round the Balearic Islands will be joining him in September for the third time this year , what a glorious retirement for him and his wife both retired public servants (fire service) and with thanks in part to his early investment in VRS | hattie1
27/7/2019 21:55 | Willir20, "Sandbag appears reluctant to accept his mistake" Why does it appear that I am reluctant to accept my mistake? Is it because I consider the point so insignificant and of no consequence that I let the matter drop? I was just pointing out that a negative article had appeared in a financial magazine. I was perhaps trying to be clever about the author's grammar but it obviously backfired. If it is correct now to omit an apostrophe then I made a mistake. Repeat - I made a mistake. Happy now! | ![]() sandbag
27/7/2019 21:15 | Apostrophes: not interested. However Transactional Analysis may be of interest to those who worry about the need to educate others on this forum, where’s the problem so long as the messenger delivers?? | hoverflyman
27/7/2019 20:56 | That where have to have faith in management acting in beat interests of shareholders... unfortunately not a common theme with AIM companies. However I believe that with Versarien we have an exception. I believe the size of the prize will require partnerships / ventures though where the potential of the whole will dwarf the parts. | ![]() meganxmas

27/7/2019 19:50 | My greatest fear is being taken out by a unwelcome bid, before shareholders see the full potential here. I note What is happening to Cobham, where the directors, who stand to make millions from there share options are trying to sell the company at below full market value. Yet another UK company in danger thanks to our short term city vultures. | ![]() rogerbridge
27/7/2019 18:50 | Evening Folks, This is interesting statement: 'IA Coatings continued support as NGA’s Corporate Partner on the verge of Graphenoil Certification.' 'Graphenoil' - new one on me ! Graphenoil is currently pending API Certification. | ![]() laginaneil

27/7/2019 18:37 | There are a lot of sailing apparel companies out there, I wonder if I shall be able to afford some ocean going oilies one day but lots of yachties can afford pretty much anything! Endless market for high profile high margin kit. Edit: I could if I sold some VRS, but I meant with Graphinks :) | hoverflyman |
