Well just fitted a pair of Continental Grand Prix 4000 II tyres to my road bike. Very nice too.
Wonder if next year they will have Nanene in them??

Looking forward to the new week here and I have sadly been wishing the weekend hours away...GLA :-)

it's also problematic that when a substantive deal is announced it has already been discounted in the share price just getting back to 140p would be heartening but not a cause for real celebration
and that would be a 50% increase from present.

there is a problem
long delays on prospective deals and no updates apart from expressions of confidence.
closing deals seems problematic to me.

No idea davemac. Why don't you email Neill rather than posting on here trying to imply there is a problem?

I doubt if the Chinese could get 15% at these prices in the market Joules. Price would shoot up straight away.

Thanks, must have missed that! Would be nice to know what ballpark it's in! Would certainly settle the share price down!

F3rdinand, regarding the price for the BIGT deal, Neill said in the podcast following the announcement

"the price will be negotiated....we have set some conditions in place to make sure that it's at a level that we think is suitable, values the company at a sensible value"....

So it certainly looks as though a reasonable basic price has been already agreed but with some negotiation still to be done.

I think the lack of detail regarding the Chinese investment has spooked the market! What price will the 15% be at? Will it be at an agreed price or an average over a certain time? If it's the latter could the Chinese force the price down to get in on the cheap! We need clarity!

This tweet from oct shows what a massive achievement the bigt (chinese state and their ngi equivalent per neill poddy) ) strategic investment rns proposal is. And i imagine since the rns announcement, the interest is likely to be hotter than ever ! Grateful for the hard graft and skill to get holders to this opportunity. Aimo. best ellis.

"..the activity has never stopped in China. In fact, it has increased 50 fold. As I keep telling people, we are dealing with a Super Power and there will only be a deal when/if we get EXACTLY what we want, which includes careful forward planning."

I wonder how successful this initiative has been since 2017, especially recently given the publicity of the graphene summit on capitol hill and standards in play via graphene council accreditation scheme?
